Textfile Data To Datagridview?

What I'm working on now is a basic telephone directory.a Directory text file contains the names of all of the subdirectories.The subdirectory files contain the names and numbers of all of the students/employees etc.Anyways. I've actually completed the program itself I just need to get the output formatted properly.Which leaves me with my problem. I want to output the data to some sort of grid. I'm going to assume DGV since it allows my to name columns(the column headings are simple: Name and Phone number)However, I cannot figure out how to take data from a textfile and throw it into the DGV. I know how to do it for a listbox, But I don't want a listbox since it isn't a grid. is there any way I can read my textfile data into an array and then iterate the data and output to the datagrid?

I am trying to create a textfile and write some lines into the textfile. However, the code that i am using can only write when the textfile is already created in the directory.
For this case, can i actually allow my script to search if a textfile is being created, if not create a textfile ???

I've made a browser project and beyond making it a default browser, I am having a problem with the Favorites feature TreeView control saving, loading and repopulating it with the users data. It's tough finding the correct code as there are so many variations of this control in various languages, but I did find sample code for loading and populating the TreeView with a text file using tabs to signify the node structure in VB.Net. (Most others I have found are VB6 or some other variation.)

What I am trying to do may be better for use with SQL Server but I have seen many applications in the past that simply work on text files and I am wanting to try to imitate the same behaviour that those applications follow. I have a list of URL's in a text file. This is simple enough to open and read line by line, but how can I store additional data from the file and query the data?
E.g.
Text File:
link1 - 0
link2 - 0
link3 - 1
link4 - 0
link5 - 1
Then I will read the data with:

I'd like to export a table from Access to a text file (or a spreadsheet) using VB code in Excel 02. I'm using the transfertext command but my code runs through without actually doing anything or throwing up any errors. If I swap the code round and change Export to Import and move the data into the text file manually then the code will happily import the table into Access.

I have two data tables. the second related to the first. Using a datagridview for the first table I am able to enter and save data ok. if I run the code twice in a row the data is still there. When I edit the data in the related table in it's own datagirdview the data is there and displays correctly, but on running the code a second time the related data is lost. I have three tables in SQL server which I would like to show and access on a form. Table 1 contains account data, address, contact details etc. Table two contains data attached to a Person, tel no , Mobile no, Email etc. Table three contains details on what awards the person holds, i.e. one person can hold several awards.
Therefore I have a one many relationship between the first two tables and a one many relationship between the second two tables. This is set up in SQL
The first two tables are shown on a form, table 1 via a set of text boxes, table 2 via a datagrid control.
I would like the functionality whereby I could select a row in the datagrid showing the persons name and find the Persons_ID number then use that as a filter to a second datagrid view so that only the selected persons awards show in the datagrid.
