TreeView Update Bug In The .net Framework?

Consider the following code:

Private Sub TreeView1_AfterCheck(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.Forms.TreeViewEventArgs) Handles TreeView1.AfterCheck

Where TreeView1 is a TreeView added to the form, with CheckBoxes set to true and one node added. The code basically cancel any node checking occuring on the form. Single-clicking the top node to check it works well : your click is immediately canceled. Yet if you double-click the checkbox, it will display a tick. But verifying the check state through a right click will yield a Checked = False dialog.
How come? Is it a bug (I'm using the latest .Net Framework 4.0, and he same occurs in 2.0), or am I doing something wrong here? Is there a work around?
EDIT: Additionally, the MouseDoubleClick event is not raised before you click once again.

I would like to update a row like this:
update [approvers] set approvalstatus = True Where approvalstatus = False and bookingID = @bookingid and approveremail = @email
Using the entity framework.
I have my query which should deliver the item like so:

I have a solution that I wish to upgrade from Vb.net framework 1.1 to framework 4.0. The solution consists of a number of projects, all but one of which compile to dll's. The master project compiles to a executable which provides a menuing system which dynamically loads the dll's and connects to entry points.
The projects contain normal classes, numbers of forms and also controls, which are either usercontrols or are inherited extensions of standard windows controls.There are a number of third party components (eg reporting and grid controls from Component One, Ribbon control from DevExpress etc).

i have a treeview say TV1 and another Treeview Say TV2.. Now TV1 Contains all nodes for user rights. and i want to add to tv2 only selected nodes.Like TV1 is
Node 1
....Child of Node 1 (Level 2)
.........Child of Child of Node 1 (Level 3)
what i want is that when i select Level3 Node it should chek TV2 for the parent of this node. if parent exist it should add the node under the same parent. if parent does not exist it should check for Level 1 Node and if it exist it should add Level 2 Node and then Level 3 Node. Otherwise it should add Level 1 , Level 2 and then Level 3 Nodes in order.

I have a class, let's call MyClass. In this class, I have a TreeView property let's call myTreeView..In my code, I populate the Nodes of this TreeView so I can use it later on.Then, when it's time to actualy use it, I haven't been able to take all the nodes from myClass and put them in a Tree View Control on my form.[code]The weird thing is that when debugging, the TreeView in MyClass is well populated with the proper values and in the loop, newNode isn't empty, there's actually something but for some reason it's not showing anything.

We have two update panels on our webpage. Now first update panel is having button cancel. While second update panel is having a file upload control.Now if the user uploads a file that is going to upload in about 2 mins, and in between, say after 30 seconds the user clicks the cancel button, the upload taking place in update panel 2 should stop.

I am using an update panel and when I click a button it will update all the panels. updapanel1.update() is very simple, but my data is not updating unless I hit the button twice. My gridviews shows data for a selected user, and then all the grids reflect that users data. works fine all the update panels work for the gridviews. Now for somereason when i try to do a row count and update the panel with the summary, it does not work, i get either the previous users summary or if i hit update again for the same user i get the correct data.

I have a gridview that is set to a sql datasource, it is generating the columns automatically. If I add a column to the table it is referencing, it will draw that column and display it, but it does not update the insert/update commands to include the new column.
