URL Editing - Imported A Number Of Web Elements That Are Called "reference Values" From A Website

I have imported a number of web elements that are called "reference values" from a website. These are added to the end of a website to navigate to a corresponding page. I am going to go to said website individually for each "reference value" and scrape code for use in a scheduling programming. How should i navigate to each of these websites when the url cannot be edited. The "reference values" are currently stored in an array but this does not seem like the correct method.

I need to write a program that requests a high number and a low number from the user, then the program searches the array and finds all elements within the two numbers. The program is used to search for past presidents, so if I type 43 for low number and 44 for high number, the program will display:
George Walker Bush
Barack Hussein Obama
I think I have an idea of how to search up to a certain point, but not to stop at a certain point....Here is the code that I have for that particular sub procedure:

I have a website and i'm using the WebBrowser.Navigate [URL]. And...after that i want to search in the source and get some elements and put them in a textbox. The elements are from a javascript.

I want to create a file upload client for uploading.com and I wanted to know if it is possible to make an application that lets you select a file from your hard drive, press an upload button and then the app will process it just like the website processes the file when you use a browser.Also I want the app to display the progress bar that the website displays when you upload, and when it's done, it has to get the URL for the uploaded file and display it in a textbox.Why not just use the website you ask? Well, I'm planning to make this into a bigger app but nothing will really work unless I get this to work first, so I have to start here.

I have tried a few things like converting HTML to XML and then using an XML navigator to get input elements but I get lost whenever I start this process.What I am trying to do is to navigate to a website which will be loaded using textbox1.text.Then download the html and parse out the input elements like . username, password, etc and place the element by type (id or name) into the richtextbox with the attribute beside the name.[code]Any clues or how to properly execute an HTML to XML conveter, reader, parser?

I'm using an Access Database and want to do something that I didnt think would be that big of a deal...I'm trying to take update a database with a value given by the user. I am having no luck with this...basically all I'm interesting in doing is having a user choose a value and then hit an update database button that adds that value to its corresponding value in the database...This is for an inventory program..

I am making a application that has the ability to edit values on a access database table. As a simple example, My table looks something like this:
Order Number Completed
2000 No
2001 No
2002 No
The application needs to edit the Completed columns. I have 1 text box, and 1 button in my form. You enter the Oder Number in the textbox and press the button. The VB application then needs to change the Completed to Yes in the database. Example, I type in 2002 in the textbox and press a button. The application changes Completed to Yes for this order number in the access database and saves/updates the database.

I am new in programming. And I am coding with VB.Net (VB2008). On my form I have 9 checkboxes. And each of this checkbox when checked is meant to submit a value to a dynamic array. Initially the array was a constant that was declared like these:
Dim Notes() AS integer = {1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000}
But I want the array to be dynamic. That is the user of the program is to enter the element of the array. So I decided to use checkboxes. So that if the user of the program checks any of the checkboxes, a particular value or element should be submitted into the array. And the user should be able to check as many checkboxes and have values representing those checkboxes submitted in to the array.
For example: if the user check checkbox1, checkbox2 and checkbox50.
The array should look like these. { 1, 2, 50 }
or if the user check checkbox1000, checkbox200, checkbox10 and checkbox500
Then the array should hold or contain the following integers in this order; {20, 200, 500, 1000}.
That is the array is dynamic and the content/elements of the array and the bound of the array should depend on the checkboxes that is checked. What other means can I used to enter values/elements into a dynamic array during run time.

I want to make an application that takes values & innerhtml from some elements on a webpage i made. For that i added a webbrowser to the project, and pointed it to navigate to my localhost server where i have some pages. I have a problem with a sql query. Through the query I am trying to search database for any occurrences of string (can be anything) in a column using the SQL LIKE command. The problem is that it works fine for most of the strings say john, jim, ji"m , but does not work when i include the following characters which are ( ' , { , } , and a single quotation mark). MYSQL query takes care of these special cases by putting them in [] block whenever user enters them .But i am getting the following error when i go to query the database using the GetSelectCommand() in VB.NET

I'm trying to add a reference to the GAC version of System.Xml in a Visual Studio 2008 web site project. I right-click the project icon in the Solution Explorer, and click Property Pages. Under the References tree option, I click the 'Add' button on the right. I navigate to System.Xml in the .NET tab, and double click it (the Path it lists for System.Xml, C:WINDOWSMicrosoft.NETFrameworkv2.0.50727System.XML.dll, DOES exist). The dialog disappears, but... System.Xml does not get added as a reference! The list just stays the same.

I am trying to assign integer values to the items in 2 different list boxes called lstWorkshop and lstLocation. I then want the equation, intCost = intDays * intLodgingFee + intRegistrationFee, to be executed and the result to be displayed in a third listbox named lstCost.
