is there a way that I can send what my client has submitted via a TextBox to one of my php servers? I googled it, and couldn't really find the answer I was looking for. I've evaluated some shareware programs that submit urls or data very quickly, like 100s in a matter of mins. I couldn't write a program using a webBrowser because it might take 15 secs just to load the url. How are they writing the code??

I am using an HTTPHandler (FileUpload.ashx) to do the uplading and want to add a SQL Statement that will insert each of the images File Names to my SQL Database. I have tried just adding the SQL to the Handler, but when I do I get 4 database entries for each iamge that is uploaded.

I am not using with cmdinsertattachment. I am using Html - Input(File) from the HTML toolbox. the ID of the input file is ID="upldimg". So how do I insert this into my table which is -
Column1 ID identity
Column2 Img image
Column 3 Description varchar(200).
The insert statement like -

Do I do upldimg.text in the insert statement?
I developed a site it works well at localhost (IIS) but the problem is that when I upload it to the server it works for some time, for some entries & gives the error and after this error, it appears to all pages. The errors are
1. "Unspecified error"
2. Error in web.config (attaching the error image) though I fix it.
I do not understand why it appears / displaying the error using the MS Access as database.

I'm writing it again, i'm developing an app in which user click a picture through image and image will be stored in sdcard then I have choose the picture from image view and send that picture to the server. I have convert my image into the byte array and then encoded it in Base64 string format but when i try to send that image to the server it give me an error of soap fault. I am trying to add multiple files to FTP server by dragging and dropping and I am able to do that using try catch block and if we give the ftp settings correctly it takes 1 sec to upload them but when we give wrong details it hangs up and dosen't give me any error message though If I give an exceptional message.
Now I am getting error message as well as success message for every file I add.I do not want that to be happen.where should I give messages for success and failure so that it should take few seconds for uploading and if not should give me a message immediately.

Currently, the user has to use Sound Record to record the message, use an FTP client to upload it to a web server, and finally, use an e-mail client to send the URL. I'd like to combine those three features into one.
I have a simple form with one text box that pass data to SQL and I want it to submit when the user hits the enter key.
In Firefox, this works great. The user puts a number hits enter gets back the results.

I am automating a javascript web form submission process using webbrowser. I would like to use something without a UI but don't think httpresponse etc would do all that is needed. My code works but I think is not designed correctly. I think I should be breaking each step into its own sub or function. In its current state I think every time a page is refreshed/redrawn all the code is running which makes causes endless looping of clicking a link which is on its own destination page. What that means is click the link and the page refreshes with new information but does not navigate to a new page. So the code looks for the link and selects it over and over and over .... This I think needs to be subbed or done as a function instead.

I've written a JavaScript function which validates form input and highlights the input fields and displays any error messages, which I have tested and all works fine. i have called this function from the OnClientClick attribute of an asp:Button tag. However, if the JavaScript function determines there to be validation errors, I want to stop the form from submitting. How do I do this?

I have created a page containing the Wizard control. It's a very simple one. User selects some data on the first page, clicks Next and then has a choice of Previous or Finish. When they click Finish the form is submitted but, for some reason, the font size of all my labels increases. There's nothing in the code of the Finish button that would do that.

I've been making an FTP program recently but I'm having trouble making it work.
Bearing in mind TextBox1 is FTP location, textbox 2 is username and textbox 3 is password nad listbox1.text is the file to send here is my code:

I am using My.Computer.Network.UploadFile(arg1,arg2,username,pass) & sometimes it returns an error to me about not being logged in?I keep using IE & such to visit the ftp'd pages & even login & logoff the ftp site server at times, but seemingly randomly it will fail, even if I use try catch statement, it seems to keep wanting to fail till i go back to IE & go to a webpage on the server or log back in to the account management through IE.
Should it not be authenticating & working correctly each & every time regardless unless the server can't be reached? Why is it wanting to fail SOMETIMES when closing these webpages/logging out on IE only, why is this seeming to have any bearing on this failing in VB.

I've written a small application that keeps track of my thesis notes and essentially I have a few textboxes for keywords, ideas and notes. When I type in the textboxes and hit my update button it works fine...when I cut and paste from a text editor into the textboxes and then hit my update button it takes way to long to return control to the form. Is there something I need to do to text that is copied and pasted into a text box before I send it to the database?
