What data type could I use in my access database that can hold very long texts. By default, each cell in Access tables can only contain up to 255 characters. Is there any way to extend this to any length I want?

e.g.
Module Scope var i is the count

I can certainly add pages from the printpage, but my function will plot characters individually onto the printer and will increase ypos at the end of the printers width.
I keep getting an over flow.I have two longs. The first is set to 16552800. I can add 32760 to it no problem. However I get an overflow error when I add 32820 to is.

All of the columns populate correctly except for the Long column. It returns a null for all rows. I have tested the SQL statement in Toad and it works perfectly. how to get an Oracle Long data type to populate in a gridview? This is driving me nuts
I'v designed a ms access database table with one field having Datetime datatype. I can Insert data into it from vb.net front end by trns_dt DateTime.Now.DateBut when I fetch records from the tableand assign the dataset datasource as da, it shows datatype mismatch error.

I am using VB2008 .NET3.5.I have a combobox that has a selection for a unit of measure. What I want to happen is when that is changes the labels that have a unit of measure change to reflect the change. There are 15 labels total that need to be changed and all there names are the only ones in the project that start with a X if that helps at all. I would like to avoid creating a bunch of labels and changing the visible property and just change the text value of each one.

We are trying to store DateTime values in an Oracle Date field. However, the precision is being lost. Currently only the year, month, and date are being stored. We need better precision than this.
