I have a form that has two text boxs User ID and password. My question user must move cursor to the User ID field. But it should default to that field as that is the only option. How to do it in .net?

Now, while my MouseCursor still blinks friendly in one of my TextBox controls, I right-click the RichTextBox and get surely my ContextMenu1. However, this ContextMenu won't do me any good unless I first left-click my RichTextBox in order to set my cursor in there and then right-click again to open the ContextMenu. I have a custom cursor that I have as a ico file as cur files are only mono coloured and 32x32.
The only problem in using a ico file is that I can't set where the hot spot is and at the moment it is set in the middle of the icon which is no help
I was looking on the msdn website and it said to set the hotspot like this

I am having problem setting focus on specific cell in my Datagridview1 . On Form1 when clicking on cell 3 in any row, I am callig a Dialog1. However, when done working with it, and closing the Dialog1, the focus returns to cell 3 in my Datagridview1 . I like to set the focus on the next cell(4) making it the current cell.
I have tryed :
DataGridView1.SelectionMode = DataGridViewSelectionMode.CellSelect
DataGridView1.CurrentCell = DataGridView1.Item(4, e.RowIndex)
DataGridView1.CurrentCell = DataGridView1.CurrentRow.Cells(4)
And few other things, I am always getting this exception: Operation is not valid because it results in a reentrant call to the SetCurrentCellAddressCore function.
if I click on the SearchSearch Textbox, I want the highlight to be on the Search Button and not on save without using AcceptButton or any TabIndexing so if whenever i press ENTER and the 'I' cursor is on the SearchSearch Textbox, the search button will be triggered.

before i made the Search button on focus whenrver i click on the Search textbox. so what happens is everytime i click on the textbox it instantly focuses on the Search button making me unable to type anything. I am working on a carputer app, and it will be relatively basic with common tools. I am going to make an onscreen keyboard that fits the style of my app, but I want to make it a seperate application from the main app. All I want it to do is is have my keyboard become visible whenever I enter a text field of any application, whether it be programmed by me or a third-party app. Think about this in the way of a smart phone... View 1 RepliesIn my program I have a picturebox. using the .onEnter and .onLeave events for the mouse I have the cursor change to a cross (one of the default cursors) and it does like a transparent grayscale thing and changes color a bit depending on what is behind it. The issue with that is that all the images I look at are grayscale images so it gets a bit lost. I am wondering if there is a way to use this default cursor and apply a different color to it?

It's been hit or miss, but occasionally, this MsgBox will load behind the browser rather than be the center of attention with focus. How can I stop this from happening?

OK in the frmMain_Load sub I have this: tab page control with two pages. On page 1 I have a textbox.I also have the following Set the focus to the first textbox control on the first tab page.txtbMonthlyUsage.Focus()I can not get the focus into the textbox although its Enabled = True, TabIndex = 1, TabStop = True.
With all that I can not get the focus to work.But when I activate the 2nd page and come back to the 1st page when the form is displayed, it works like its supposed to.What am I missing?Do I need to activate page 1 as the form is loading? How do I do that?
