I have two problems with my Visual studio 2008, I can't find the 3 button that use as bookmarks for line, and how to keep the Search Box to be on top, right now I'm pressing CTRL+F whenever I want to search something in my code.
View 5 Repliesi have a problem in locating bookmarks which are defined inside the table cell. Each table cell in my word document can contain multiple textboxes. I need to fill text in each of these textboxes using word automation. I tried placing bookmarks inside these textboxes for each cell and tried to replace using Word Automation. But unfortunately, i cant locate / replace the bookmark using the following lines:

I am suppose to only Find the total of each column in the last row. Find the grand total in the last cell (the bottom right corner)Ok i have tried to do the grandtotal but i am not getting what she wants done I have also tried to reverse the arrays but that was wrong to. i have made a basic web browser, i am trying to add bookmarks and history on to it. I have made a basic bookmarks form where you can add pages, but i want when you double click on a bookmark for it to open in the browser, and i have added a button to add the current page into the bookmarks, but that does not have any code as i did not know where to start.
Also i have not made a template for history as i did not know where to start, please help me out as i really want to get a fully working web browser. Also i have put a link for you to look at the code, and i know the media player is affecting the tabs, i would like to keep the media player but would not like it to auto open if you can also help there (i didnt put that in a friend did)

what i need to do is open a txt file, read line by line, decode each line into an array and display. Now all works ok apart from one line.

I have a facebook account that has around 1200 friend request. Obviously I dont wanna go through and click each one. So I figure I would make a App for it. So I have it working, but its going sooooo Slow....I have it, Clicking the first Confirm button then closing IE, Then opening it back up and clicking the next one. I know it would be alot faster if i could keep that instance of IE open and have it go through and click each Confirm Button but I cant figure out away to do it. If I put it in a loop, it will submit the first one, then when it loops for the second time it finds the first one again, and says its disabled. Any Idea of how I can get it to move on to the next Confirm button? Here is the code I got written so far.

then i need then to hide different buttons depending on which button was pressed. so say i pressed button 1 then all the buttons showed but alternativly if i had of pressed 2 then say button 5 and 6 disapear.managed to get one way to work but then i would only ever end up with the first results every time.

For rich textbox in vb.net i want to have single border line. Fixed single and Fixed 3D are having some dimensional effect which i do not want. And i would also like to change the color of the border.
And same thing with the button, for them how to have single line border and specified color.

I have a piece of software with two tabs, inside each tab there are buttons (the user can add the buttons when they want). when tab1 is full tab2 should start to fill. I currently know how many buttons fit on the screen so I just say something like if buttons > 150 then start to populate tab 2 The problem i have now though is if the resolution is changed then a different amount of buttons can be displayed. so if I put my screen to 1280x720 some buttons are left of. I was thinking of detecting the resolution and then using different cases for different resolutions but this seems very inefficient im wondering if there is a different way?

It even indicates if the string I'm seeking is in the middle of a line. But what I would like is for the routine to highlight the line that that string is in and ensure visible. I can do that with another routine that uses an integer, but then the whole string(line) has to be the searchString. I've tried combining the two and even calling a Private Sub but with no success:(What is the best way to do this? Also, how do you get around doing it when the searchWord in in several lines?
I am trying to save details from my program into a sort of mini database using excel, my program isnt having a problem opening the excel file, it is having trouble inputting the data. The first problem i would like help with is maybe a loop of some sort to get my program to look through each line on my excel spreadsheet and find the next empty line so it can input the data.

In my problem, I have a world of 200 x 200 units divided into 4 x 4 grids (Each of 50 units).
There is a line crosses some areas has the coordinates of Point A (Starting Point) of (XA = 12.43, BA = 159.48) and Point B coordinates (Ending Point) of (XB = 112.95, YB = 20.95).
The question is, how can find the length of (A to C1), (C1 to C2), (C2 to C3), (C3 to C4), (C4 to C5) and finally (C5 to B)?
In addition, how can I indicate the square in which the line is inside?
note that the method should work for all conditions (-ve and +ve line slopes) and for different A and coordinates.
