VS 2008 Displaying Data On A New Line In RichTextBox

I am using VB2008 Express. In my program I have a loop that is updating variables. As these variables are updated, the updated information must be displayed in the RichTextBox. Everything works fine and I can display my first line of data, but then the next time the second line of data overwrites the first line. I would like each update to be on a new line, so I need to force a new line in my code. Here is the code for part of the loop so far.[code]

I have some numbers stored in a notepad and i want to display them line by line on a form that has a label or textbox whenever i click a commamd button. These numbers should display one after the other rapidly and should stop run whenever another command button is clicked hence the lucky is seen on a label or textboxes, is just like a raffle.

To read any form's text (except RichTextBox) line by line I've always used this splitting
Dim Lines() as String = Split(TextBox1.Text, vbNewLine)MsgBox(Lines(0))This code just works perfectly.But whenever I try this code on a RichTextBox like this:Dim Lines() as String = Split(RichTextBox1.Text, vbNewLine)MsgBox(Lines(0))The message box appears with the whole lines.I think maybe the RichTextBox1.Text() returns another new line character (means not vbNewLine).

I have a .txt file that I need to be able to search from a text box, and then display the results in a listbox. Each line is formatted as the following.Jim Wells,1/12/85,3,999-555-4562ith the textbox I need to search the file for the third value (in this case the 3). But I need to search all lines of the file, and any line that has a 3 or whatever number is searched in the textbox needs to be displayed in the listbox in this format.

I'm trying to show the line numbers with a stack trace when an exception is thown in my app.
This code is in the UnhandledException of ApplicationEvents:
e.Exception.StackTrace.ToString
It currently returns:btnOK_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at with no line number at the end.
I have set the project to create debugging info in Project Properties > Compile > Advanced compile options > Generate Debug Info = pdb-Only, and deployed the PDB file with the app, but still I don't get any line numbers.
I'm using VS2008 Standard, vb.net.

I have a richtextbox control. It contains many lines of text (multiline is enabled). My goal is: When user clicks with right-click mouse, I'd like to display all the text of the line where the cursor is. I'm using this method to get the cursor's line:
Dim line As Integer = RichTextBox1.GetLineFromCharIndex(RichTextBox1.SelectionStart)
But how do I get the text of the line? Should I copy the whole text to a string array , and then just print the relevant line item?

After I add tons of text lines on RichTextBox, I need to select any line(s) by just clicking this line. After that this line is highlighted. Then I click one button to remove this line. How to do that? (the starting character for each line is the same)

I am developing a program where i will download and save an xml file from a url as abc.xml. The following code selects a line ina richtextbox. It works OK expect from one problem:
When a line is biger than the size of the richtextbox, it wraps it. This create a big problem as I can not select the last line of the richtextbox (when a line is wrapped it becomes two lines). When I set wordwrap to off it works just fine

I want it so every time I click an ITEM in the Listbox it displays ALL the data into the textbox. I know there's an easy way using table adapters and binding the listbox, but I'd prefer to do it this way for my project.
So this is what I got.
Lst.DataSource = ds
Lst.DisplayMember = "tblStudent.FirstName"
Lst.ValueMember = "tblStudent.StudentID"

It only adds the first rows details to the text box when I click the second record the first rows details are still there.

I'm having a problem with displaying JPEG images in a RichTextBox. When I insert a JPEG image into a RTB it automatically gets converted to a wmetafile8 and displays correctly - however, if i insert a JPEG image into file via another method (currently using the web) it get saved as a jpegblip (as you would expect) but the RTB will not display it. Opening the rtf document in Word displays the image correctly.I have tried this with png and gif files also but none of the images will display unless they are wmetafiles. Is this a limitation with the RichTextBox or is there another reason?

I'm trying to make a way for them to export orders to a .rtf file. In order to preserve formatting (bold, underline, etc.), I'm creating a RichTextBox (through code) and formatting the text appropriately. To save the output, I'm simply using the RichTextBox.SaveFile method. Now, to list all of the products that were sold in the order, I'm deriving the information from a ListView. The ListView contains the product name, product price, and quantity sold of that product. I cannot find a way to list the output in a table-like structure, so I tried making a DataGridView and pasting it onto the RichTextBox. Unfortunately, this didn't work at all, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what I can do. I can't simply use Tabs to space out the information because it doesn't get formatted nicely.

The new issue is that the knife item gets added to the listbox, but when I click on it...the picture isn't displayed in the picture box, and the description isn't displayed in the rich text box. I have the image path and name correct. I have no idea why the description isn't going in the text box.

i have 2 richtextbox,which will be compared with each other;array by array. if those array are same with each other;array1(3)=array2(3); then i will just display "*********" in another RTB3.but then if there are any differents between array1 and array 2, i will display error and state at which line does the errors occur.Next,i will highlight the error line in RTB1.and here is my problem.

I am busy with a VB2008 EXPRESS program that reads is data via a network cable. Saving the data on the same computer as my program is not a problem, but I must also make this data available to other users in the network and update their screens in real time. In other words I need a COPY of my running program on each networked computer when requested by the user in the network. I have looked at SQL, XML pages and inheritance.
