VS 2008 : Find Value From Table?

SQL, Table1 has data as following
Code------product
1-----------Mango
2-----------Potato
3-----------Orange
Datagridview has THREE columns as
Code----product-------qty
I have following codes
str3 = "SELECT product FROM table where code =" & Val(DataGridView1.Rows(DataGridView1.CurrentRow.Index).Cells(0).Value)
dt3 = GetTable3(str3)
[code]....
If code not found then msgbox appears and cursor moves to NEXT COLUMN.It works fine.But I want....HTML When code not found then cursor MUST NOT GO TO NEXT COLUMN.Should I change code or choose some other datagridview event?

Any thoughts on this? Btw, this is my first time using a datarow, and I've recently been studying how to use ADO.net.

I'm using the following code (System.Data.SQLite within VB.net)[code]...
I know the table exists because I can write to it via the command line through sqlite and through Autoit and can see it and edit it in the SQLite browser when I open the database. I don't understand why VB can't see it (I know it sees and opens the database file just fine).

You can iterate the controls collection and me.components.components to find certain objects, but nowhere can I find where a form keeps a collection of its early-bound table adapters. When you add them in at design time and bind them to a control, it shows them on the design window, and it creates them in the design.vb file, and they're available as a property of your form object... but I can't find a way to browse through them and pick one in code, like you can with the control collection (I.E. me.controls.Item("controlname")).[code]...

what is the fasted way to get all the rows from table1 that aren't in table2? i have over 4000 rows in table1, i am currently looping through using:
for each dr as datarow in dt1.rows
then i check table2 to see if that entry exists using:
dim rows() as datarow = dt2.select("EmployeID = " & dr!EmployeeID)
if rows.length > 0 then it exists in both tables - dont need it
other wise i copy the row into a third table which ends up being my final collection of rows that are in table1 and not in table2. this takes a really long time. is there a better, faster way that isn't too complicated?

I have created a form for a user to create a booking of a meeting room, I need this form to do 3 things.have print functionality update the new booking to a dataset view the current bookings screen I seem to be struggling with the second task, when I try and save my new booking I get this error
System.InvalidOperationException was unhandled

I've got a form - CMCConsole It pops up a dialog form for adding a new case.If the matter number in a textbox on that dialog form matches an existing cases matter number I would like to find it in the binding source of the CMCConsole form

I have a word document with multiple tables. How can I specify in VB.NET to find a specific table and insert rows only into that one? I've successfully implemented the Find&Replace in the document... but the problem is that I have an unknown number of things that must be added into the table based on the data I'm querying from my database. So there is no simple solution as far as putting placeholders in the table and using the find and replace function.

I have a table located in a Microsoft Word document. changes has been enabled in this document. I see that I can get the collection of revisions using "ActiveDocument.Range.Revisions" . I also see that I can tell if the revision exists inside a table using "Range.Information(wdWithInTable) " .My question is this:I really need to find out the "ID#'s" that contain a revision on the "SomeText#" column.So for example, if "Some Text 1" was revised, I need to output "ID-1".I am puzzled as to how to implement this logic. Does anyone know of a way to go about this?

i have a problem in locating bookmarks which are defined inside the table cell. Each table cell in my word document can contain multiple textboxes. I need to fill text in each of these textboxes using word automation. I tried placing bookmarks inside these textboxes for each cell and tried to replace using Word Automation. But unfortunately, i cant locate / replace the bookmark using the following lines:

I need to do a query in which I can find all records in a table in which a user enters a search word. The word to be searched for will be a word in a column. If there's a table named solutions and in the table there is a field named description; i need to be able to pull up all records where for example the search word is 'printer' is in the description column. I don't have any code or database structure to show. I first need to know if this can be done. Can someone supply a code snippet example or tell me what SQL keywords will do this, or some pointer?

i'm trying to do some appointment book so i decided to use MonthCalendar control and date changed event for choose the date i tried dataset.table.rows.find() function on other tables which have int primary key and it works its finds my row/s i need but when i tried this func. on date type primary key it cannot find i tried to search with date type ==> fail search with string type like 03.07.2012 ==> failed etc.
