VS 2008 XML Function Does Not Add Items To ListView?
May 31, 2009I call the following

However, no errors are shown, the items are not added to the ListView. Also, if i check the values of "artist", it is populated, as are the rest. It just, for some reason, does not add to a listview on another form.

Dec 13, 2011I need to execute a stored function in oracle or sql through vb.net. I created a command object. Depending on the database type(oracle or SQL) i am preparing the Command text as Select functionName(?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?) from dual; (For Oracle) Adding the parameter values of the function. Now performing the ExecuteScalar which is not working saying invalid parameter. This works with ODBC connection string. But ODBC doesn't with 64bit. My Requirement: Code should execute a user defined stored procedure by taking the values at runtime.

Feb 16, 2012I've come across an error I'm not quite sure how to get rid of, I've got a listview with listview items making up the grid, I've got values coming from a database populating the cells however if there are any null values(in this case, there's null values in the date) it crashes my program. I'm not quite sure of a way to allow the listview to have null values in it, I figured it would default allow it but that's not the case.[code]....

Jul 21, 2010I have Listview which databound to Dataset with about 20 items per row. I have a function which executes on each ItemTemplate appearance and gets about 10 params from Eval("something"). So basically one function builds and image from 10 parameters.Instead of passing 10 Eval("something") to the function is it possible to pass it whole row and how to use this row inside of function because it is not simple DataRow or ListView row which i can access as array of items (datacolumns).Reason i do that because function looks ugly and each time i need to change it i need to deal with dozens of items.

Jun 21, 2009I have a ListView of 4 columns, one of which is a monetary value.I am trying to add these values of 'selected' rows. I can add ALL row's values - but not selected rows. The code that I use actually highlights all the rows that contain the string that is looked for but the result is not correct. Let me explain: Say I am looking for all the rows that contain the word "Special" and that it is in 4 rows. The 4 rows are highlighted but the result is the value of the first row highlighted multiplied by the number highlighted. In a Console.WriteLine I find that the same numberRow is shown 4 times. Lets say the table has 3 columns (a,b,c) and 1 row of data.

I want the user to be able to re-arrange the columns (by dragging the column headers) before printing the contents of the table.

3 1 2
Statements like:

.. ListViewX.Columns.Item(2).Text
.. ListViewX.Items(0).SubItems(2).ToString
Give the column-name (c) and cell-contents (3) of the origional table .. not the (3rd) column (b) of the re-arranged table.
How can i get the column-name and cell-contents of the (3rd) column of the re-arranged table?
