Form Don't Auto Refresh When Change Certain Values
Dec 23, 2010i am currently making a project which is to make a cinema screen booking system. My main problem is that although i have most of what is working i need to find a formula to give the full result (overall price) in a label. My other problem is the fact that when i interact with my form certain things dont auto refresh when i change certain values e.g i change number of seats but it doesn't auto refresh the price or anything OR i click one discount then another but nothing changes and it keeps the old value.
Okay in my menu i have a CombBox (ComboBoxScreen) for choosing the film and there are 3 films to choose from in the drop menu each with their own price. I also have a Textbox (NumberSeats) for inputting a number of seats you want to book for chosen film. And lastly there are 3 radio buttons each with different discounts. e.g No discount, 10% off and 25% off. A formula to work out the overall price uses all three functions/tools above. [Code]

Listview In Child Form - Listview Will Not Access With My Add Button Control In FrmCreateUserType
Jul 29, 2010I have 3 forms, one frmMain - main form, second is frmUserType- childform, and the last frmCreateUserType. In the main form I have a menu item to open my frmUserType, In this form I have a button to open another form which is my frmCreateUserType, In this form I have a button to add records then update the listview in frmUserType. The problem is the listview will not access with my add button control in frmCreateUserType. I tried not to used mdiparent declaration for my frmMain and frmUserType as children and it works, so meaning that the problem is showing my frmUserType as childform?I am using vb.net 2008

2008 : Listview With Image List - Change The Image In The Listview Dynamically?
Jan 15, 2010I have a listview control. it has an imagelist attached to it with two images in it. I have entered items into my listview, and they are using the first image in my imagelist.... GREAT! Now, there is a variable I have that will tell me which index in the listview is currently active, noting to do with what I select that could be at another index it's just what's being processed by the program at the time in some task.
Create a function that will change the images of all my listview items by looping through them. If the index variable is set to 2, I want the 3rd item in my list view set to use the 2nd image in my imagelist. The rest of the items in my listview need to be set to the first image in the imagelist.

Jun 21, 2009I have a ListView of 4 columns, one of which is a monetary value.I am trying to add these values of 'selected' rows. I can add ALL row's values - but not selected rows. The code that I use actually highlights all the rows that contain the string that is looked for but the result is not correct. Let me explain: Say I am looking for all the rows that contain the word "Special" and that it is in 4 rows. The 4 rows are highlighted but the result is the value of the first row highlighted multiplied by the number highlighted. In a Console.WriteLine I find that the same numberRow is shown 4 times. I have a textchange on coustomer name which fills the listview with just the names that start with the letters as they are typed in, this bring up the listview with those customers.
