when you click the login button, it will form#.show which will be a web browser
then i want it where the text from textbox 1 and 2 can be put into a textbox ON A WEB PAGE if I get the text box's ID number.
So basically can I transfer data from form to form?

Oct 13, 2009OK, SO i have this program that outputs all the servers on a specific game. It outputs it to a text file. HOWEVER, There is a lot of annoying spaces. This is kind of hard to explain, so ill try to explain it. This is what The text file looks like. [Code]
As you can see, they have these annoying spaces. What I want to do: 1. Get rid of the spaces, BUT KEEP A SPACE BETWEEN THE IP AND THE PORT. 2. After the spaces that are bad are gone, I want the program to output each single IP AND port To its own text Box. It doesn't matter is the textbox of the IP and Port are separated, It can just be one textbox with the IP and port, with a space between them. Thats about it. I have the GUI done, and the rest of the programming, all I need now is this. Reformat without spaces > output each separate line of text to a separate textbox > TYTYTYTY
PS, is there a way for VB to send a command to the command prompt? Say, I wanted it to open a CMD box and send ipconfig into that box, what would that be?

I know how to make the webbrowser1.navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines, however I want my webbrowser to navigate to each url every 1-1.5 seconds once button1 is clicked. Yes, my webbrowser1 will navigate to the specified urls via the textbox1.text (multilines) with a button click, but I need the webbrowser1 to navigate in a order sequence from top to bottom of Textbox1.text (multiplelines) every 1 second. May 11, 2009I'm developing a new programme that uses multiple table to store Orders placed via my website, on the form that i have created i have a Combobox that displays the Point of sale name. what i need it to do is when the record is updated in need the Point_of_sale_ID value that matches the name from the Point_Of_Sale table to be put into the Point_of_Sale_ID field on the Sales_Order tableI have added the Foreign Keys for the fields, but i cannot find any help in regards to this, i mainly wor with PHP but have taken on the new challenge of VB & ADO.Net, i have rear several book on the subject and have produced several single table programs but am now stuck!! Is it also possible to make it so that the CD with the programme on, is in the PC when the programme is being used. Perhaps writing the Textbox data back onto the CD ?

An example...A password memory program...What I mean by this is you have a form filled up with usernames and passwords and it will insert the correct username and password for the specified site. Nov 19, 2011I'm trying to grab information entered in textboxes. I'm trying to grab a name, an age, and a movie title from three separate textboxes, and put them into a single label like this:
"Name" is "age," her favourite film is "movie title."
after clicking the "Show" button.
I know it's a click event for the show button, but I can't quite figure out how to make the concatenated message.

May 14, 2011I am trying to make a web browser for a school project... and I have a few questions...
The first being that I have a textbox for my address bar and I want it to do a few things, I want it to expand when i set my browser to fullscreen , be able to press enter when typing in it and it will take me to that webpage and for it to show recent history... (i know it seems like a ton of expectations mainly i would like the first 2 the third is not as important) So i dont know how to do any of that...
I also would like to know how to go about making new tabs on demand and not have a bunch of tabs just sitting there...
last question how do i go about making new windows not just for browser windows but, making something like firefoxes options window.. not necisarily to do that but just to make i guess another form pop up...

Jul 31, 2010I have attached a picture of yahoo Messenger with this Thread and highlighted the 2 text fields and a button with red line. The problem is that I have seen a small program in the computer of my friend. When He double clicked on that program, it (program) automatically puts the User ID and Password in Yahoo Messenger relevant fields and automatically presses the Login Button. I have tried much to get the source code of that program, but cant.

May 5, 2011I need a little advice in manipulating DataGridView in Visual Basic .Net. This is my first time playing with DataGridView. My program is to load a .txt file containing data of every room in a building and display them in the DataGridView. Here is a portion of the file showing 2 rooms:

A room is a one-line string that ends with an endline character.I have no problem with loading the file and getting all these information. I store data of each room into an object of class Room, and put them in a list.Right now, I put all of the properties of the room into the data grid's columns like this:
Now, how can I put all these rooms' data into the grid? I tried follow [URL].. at first, but setting DataSource to a list of class Room imitating from the given link doesn't show anything in the grid view.How can we tell the program to link rows of the grid to a list of objects? Or am I doing it wrong?

May 15, 2011I was using 2 forms, the first one has general data capture and the second one is a calendar form. On Form1 I have mulitple windows controls. A Textb ox and beside a Calendar button. When I click on a Calendar Command button, it should open calendar form and once the user selects the date, the date should be placed in the text box on the form1. Identical to this on Form1 I need multiple textboxes that needs date to be captured.I cannot use a global variable for this as I need to validate mulitple text boxes. To explain this, I have a Transaction Date and Date Received. I need to validate whether Transaction date is prior Date Received or not? I dont want to use several global variables b'coz I might need multiple validations as above. Please help me on this.

The web browser has a captcha on it.
I want the captcha to be shown on the form iteself.
Maybe in a picturebox or something. But it needs to be the current picture on the web browser.
I have looked around and I couldn't find anything that could achieve this.

Or if this is possible, could I add the image "captchaSF_Image" to the clipboard and then paste it in the picturebox1.image? If so how could this be done?
