I want it to be able to click another time every time I click, but it wont wont. When I click, it will just keep sending clicks and not stopping until I close the program

I have problem with contextmenu on shockwave. I have selected the contextmenu property on shockwave which I have selected contextmenustrip1 instead of none. I have debug the project and I clicked right mouse button on shockwave but the contextmenustrip1 doesn't display, only shockwave menu. I am working on a simple program which requires me to be able to select a picture box and move it to a new location by dragging it with my mouse. This is all the relevant code I have come up with currently. however, when I run the program it tries to move to where I want it to go then it seems to revert back to its previous location.

Is there another way to disable either the mouse or program execution until the animation objects are finished moving?

In this form, I have a menu control, this menu control has four buttons.On clicking the first three buttons, open the window with Show() event. and the fourth button open the screen with ShowDialog().Now, One by one I am clicking the button , so finally i have now four windows of this application.(Three with Show() and one with ShowDialog())Right?
Now I am minimizing all the windows with the help of Window + D Button.After this, If I use the keyboard(Alt+ Tab) keys. This is opening the showDialog window on top because , Show dialog's TopMost = True.Now I come back to my problem. That's why I cannot use the show/Showdialog overloaded menthod to pass the Me/form-id .Again, I use the keyboard(Alt+ Tab) keys, to minimized all windows. In the taskbar and Startmenu properties ,I have selected the Group Similar Taskbar buttons.This resulted in the heap of my application windows, one on the other.Now i click on one of my application window , and If I click the window other then the Show Dialog opened Window, this is not bringing the show dialog window to topMost.
Note:- There is no parent child window requirement. That's why I can't use the Show/Show Dialog overloaded method to pass the Me/Form-id

I know the title of this thread is a show stopper for a lot of us . But what I want to do is stop two services from running for a period of time then restart them. I know I can do this from the command prompt by using net stop servicename then restart with net start servicename. I need these two services stopped to do some work on the database. I do this manually right now and want to automate the process. I tried process.start with the command net stop but that did not work out. If I try the Process List I get the process running but not the services.

View 2 RepliesI have a background worker which runs, at the start it stops a timer which has it's interval set to 500ms, at the end of the bgworker sub it starts it again. I've debugged and found out that the line that starts the timer up again (tTimer.Enabled=True) runs. However the timer does not resume. I'm don't know, but I'm thinking perhaps because I'm stopping and starting it on another thread it's not resuming properly or the sub it was attached to (via AddHandler) has been reset or something so it's running but not running the code in the sub it was attached to. If I never stop the timer in the code, it continues to run just fine, but I need it to stop at the start.

My problem here is that what the loop does is click on another program, thus taking the focus off of mine, how would i be able to make my app see if I press the key even if the form isn't in focus?
If I put this code in the form, the mouse will be moved once. I want it to "freeze" the mouse at the point that its moved at. If I put code in timer (which it is now), the mouse will keep searching for the color, so the mouse moves around like crazy. View 11 RepliesI have an MDI Form that contains an MDI Child form. On this child form is a flexgrid. When the user double clicks on a row in the flexgrid this loads another MDI Child form. I have set the following properties on the second child form:
FormBorderStyle = FixedDialog
MaximizeBox = False
MinimizeBox = False
StartPosition = CenterScreen
WindowState = Normal
The problem is that if the first MDI child form is in a maximized state and the user double clicks on the flex grid, the second child form loads in a maximized state too! How can I stop this?

Firstly its very inaccurate. I want it so the Richtextbox moves with the mouse and not after the mouse. So I want a smooth drag and drog.
So I don't know if this is the wrong code for something that I want perfect like that.
Secondly I dont know if its possible but I would like it so the box can only be dropped in certain area's in my program and if there is a box already occupying that space, It goes back to where it was before.

View 35 RepliesI have defined a class which inherits PictureBox-component.In this class I have a mouseClick and mouseDoubleClick events overridden.On mouseClick the image is selected. Now if user click it again, it is delesected.The mouseDoubleClick event starts the video which this picture is pointing to.Now the problem is that when user doubleclicks the pictureBox it actually calls the mouseClick-event twice (select-deselect) and does not call the mouseDoubleClick-event. How can I define it so that if mouseclicks are done as doubleclicks then doubleClick-event is called, not the click event twice?

But after the application closes there is still memory being held in Processes by the application. However, when pressing the [X] in the top of the form the application closes again but in this instance it is not held in Processes. How do I write the close for Exit to take into account how the [X] works and close the application cleanly?

Someone asked me to add a function when the notifyicon is doublcliked. I figured that'd be easy with the mousedoubleclick event being available. I have two custom action listers. One that handles Mouse.Click and one that handles Mouse.MouseDown. My question to you is, can I delay the mouse down event so that it does not intefere with the code of the Mouse.Click event? I have tried adding a timer and waiting x amount then setting a bool value to true, but the code executes to fast and it skips the other code.
