I have not tried it on an executable produced using Vb.Net yet though.To install: Be sure to always read the README file within the downloaded ZIP file for instructions for ALL give-aways on that website. I was able to install on VISTA 32 bit ULTIMATE edition, with no problems by double-clicking the SETUP then the ACTIVATE files directly from the WINZIP window. WARNING: Make a copy of your EXE if you want to keep an unprotected version.

I am not sure if this is a bug, but I doubt it.I have an application that has multiple forms. There is about 5 ListView controls in the whole application (in different windows) and they all are in details view and have columns. But there is one that is not displaying right. I have a vb-2008 program that contains a (listview) control.
View = details
AllowColumnReorder = true
Lets say the table has 3 columns (a,b,c) and 1 row of data.
a b c
1 2 3
I want the user to be able to re-arrange the columns (by dragging the column headers) before printing the contents of the table.
c a b
3 1 2
Statements like:
.. ListViewX.Columns(2).Text
.. ListViewX.Columns.Item(2).Text
.. ListViewX.Items(0).SubItems(2).ToString
Give the column-name (c) and cell-contents (3) of the origional table .. not the (3rd) column (b) of the re-arranged table.
How can i get the column-name and cell-contents of the (3rd) column of the re-arranged table?

i am developing a point of sales system. currently i have my product code scanned and displayed in a listview. lets say that i have 5 product codes displayed in my first listview. By clicking on a button, how can i use these codes to call upon the details (prices, product name, etc.) of the corresponding codes and display in another listview?

i have a list box in the select indexchange event i have put a msgbox to print the 3rd subitem of the listview. I am trying to use some VB6 code for a listview in my .net application. However, once it converted it to vb.net code i can not seem to get pass this:
Dim ListObj As System.Windows.Forms.ListViewItem
ListObj = LV1.FindItemWithText(Name_Renamed, True, 0)
It keeps telling me
InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'startIndex'. Parameter
name: startIndex
I've tried to input a 1 instead of a 0 but i still get the same error message as above

I have a listview control. it has an imagelist attached to it with two images in it. I have entered items into my listview, and they are using the first image in my imagelist.... GREAT! Now, there is a variable I have that will tell me which index in the listview is currently active, noting to do with what I select that could be at another index it's just what's being processed by the program at the time in some task.
Create a function that will change the images of all my listview items by looping through them. If the index variable is set to 2, I want the 3rd item in my list view set to use the 2nd image in my imagelist. The rest of the items in my listview need to be set to the first image in the imagelist.

I am trying to get the selected rows from a listview. To achieve this, I did this:
Dim numsel As Integer
numsel = Me.ListView1.Items.Count
For countme As Integer = 0 To numsel

It does count the selected rows, but it always throws out the error saying "ArgumentOutOfRange Exception", or something along those lines. For example, if I selected a row, it will output the results of that row. But the loop goes on. I tried everything I can but to no avail. I specifically want to select multiple rows, and I can achieve that if someone can assist me with this simple "problem" I have.

I imported an app from vb6 to vb.net It works fine. It has one axmsflexgrid control. Now I want to add another axmsflexgrid control in the same app. I tried to copy and paste from one frame (groupbox) to another and got this error:
"An error occurred while processing this command: Exception from HRESULT:0x800A018A (CTL_E_GETNOTSUPPORTED)"
An inputs on how would I fix this? Or just make a new axmsflexgrid?

I want to have each row in the listview (the view mode is set to detail) have a row #. I COULD set the item text as a row #, but that's kludgy and means sorting has to be customized because the REAL item text is in subitem(1). Is there a way to have a label on each row in a listview that shows the row #?
