VS 2008 - Textbox And Combo Box - User Has To Only Put The Icao Code And It Will Display The Airport

I have a ton of airports listed in my Combo Box Right? They are displayed in the following format;
Airport Name (ICAO Code)
For Example
Kansas City Intl (KCI);
Since I have so many, Can someone provide me with a code i can use so in a textbox the user has to only put the icao code and it will display the airport.
For example
TextBox1.Text = KCI
Once that user has clicked out of the text box, It will seach the combo box for any values with KCI and will display it
So if textbox1.text = KCI, then combobox1.value = Kansas City Intl (KCI)

I'm using ASP.net 4.0 VB,I am using a session variable to add a user entered code into the url of each page. I can get the code to show up at the end of the page's URL that my textbox is on, but what do I add to every page to make sure that the session stays at the end of every URL that person visits during their session? This is the code from the page that the user enters their user code.

How to use a databound combo box to display one field in the drop down, and another as the combo box text on roll up? Using VS 2005... For example, I have a datatable that has 2 fields. One called "ShortDesc" and one called "LongDesc". I want to be able to see the "LongDesc" column values in the drop down on the combo box. I am writing an app that uses a combo box to list file types for a user to select from. Because a complete list of all options is both impossible and wildly unwieldy, I am only providing about 10 common extensions. I want the user to be able to type in their own file extension if the one they need is not listed. the first item in the combo box is empty by default, but during testing when i type something in their to use as my selection, i get the exception "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." pointed at extensionComboBox.SelectedItem.ToString

i have 4 text box how can i display a messagebox that will prompt the user if theres any duplicate text on the four Textbox. I would like some info on how to do a procedure. In my program when a user hits the Edit Command button I would like for the program to display a popup Textbox where he/she can input data and store it. Then the data will be linked to the comments box, once the user hits the save button. Also the popup textbox disappears after the user is done entering the data.

I am creating an application which requires I enter an amount into a TextBox. This amount is the amount of money I plan to deposit into a bank account. I would like to find a way to get the TextBox to display the number entered in a currency format after the user has tabbed or clicked the next field.

I have an app that I'm using Form2 to display informaitonal messages without having the user to press the OK button. I DIM form2 as a new form as a global and then add a lable to it on the fly and then control it's appearance with a timer. This all works great providing the main form is being displayed however I can't make Form2 show up if the main form is minimized or hidden. I can get around this a bit by keeping the main form maximized but change it's Opacity to zero but once I do that I have no idea how to return the Opacity back to normal when I do want to see the form. Anyone have any ideas on how to make Form2 display if the main from is minimzed or how to control the Opacity of the main form so I can return things to normal? I was thinking that there might be something I could do with hovering over or clicking on the icon in the taskbar but I don't know what that event might be.

So I need to get a button to take the number that a user enters into a textbox, calculate the factorial from that number, and display it in another textbox. I can't seem to get this to come out right.
Here's some of the code I've been playing with.

How do I get numbers typed into a text box to be feed into my code and then the code to be ran?Below is the code that I want the information from a text box to be fed into. With the (0, 50) being the numbers.I will have a form set up like this, A button labeled Generate. 3 Text boxes total, 2 of them side by side with one being low and one high. For example The user will input 5 in the low box at 100 in the high box. Hitting generate the numbers will then be inserted into code and the result being shown in the 3rd text box.
Now what is the code that I'm looking for that will help me take information from TextBox1 and TextBox2 and insert into the (XXXX, XXXX) field in my buttons code?

im running the following bit of code in a background worker and it is coming up with the following error
"The remote server returned an error: (503) Bad sequence of commands."the code is My.Computer.Network.DownloadFile(strFTP & aryfiles(i), My.Settings.strLocalTemp & aryfiles(i), strPUserName, strPPassword, False, 100, True) It runs fine the first time through but 5 mins later when it runs again it always throws this error.

I have a form that queries a database into a dataset then sets textboxes to values from the query. I have a status field I want to be able to control so I created a combo box with typed in values(Active, Inactive, Missing, Broken,Calibration). The purpose of this form is to view the current information on the item and edit if need be. I want to display the current status in the combo box. I can't get the combo box to display the value from the query. How do I do that.
