VS 2008 Creating Events For Lists Of Buttons?

i have created a list of buttons using the following
Dim Butt(20) As Button
Dim i As Integer = 0
While (i <= 20)
Butt(i) = New Button
Me.Controls.Add(Butt(i))
i = i + 1
End While
this means that buttons are created in the code and not on the form to begin with, so I don't know how to create an event for the click of a button in a list. Is it possible to do it with a parameter for i so that there is only 1event for all buttons in the list, and i is the button index array clicked?

I am trying to use the keydown/keyup events with buttons in the same project and it not working properly. I have 4 red boxes and when I press an arrow key the box should change to green according to which arrow key it corrosponds to. I have this part working fine, however only when there is nothing else in the project. When I add in say 3 buttons, Button1, Button2, Button3 and try runing the program instead of the correct red box changing to green, button outline just moves between buttons 1,2 and 3. I have tried turning tabstop off for the three buttons but that didnt work. how to read the keydown/keyup while still having buttions that can be pressed with a mouse?

I'm using vb.net. Basically, I have a drop down list, text box and a submit button. You choose a movie director from a drop down list, then type in a movie, click button and it adds the data to my database.There's another button which hides/shows drop down list, text box and submit button using Visible = True and Visible = False, but what I don't like about it is when it hides the things I said before, it leaves some white/empty space like if they are still there, but not visible.Is there anyway to put some kind of holder/container and place a button which when clicked could add my drop down list, text box and submit buttons to that place?

My process is as follows:I access a database table to determine what questions to ask (20-100 questions).Each question is display along with, possibly, a "done" button.My code to do this is as follows:

Two problems:1. My sub is never being called, so I can only assume that my "addhandler" is not working.2. QCC_Q_ID = e.ToString.... That doesn't seem right - is it? What I need to do is get the name of the button (btn_second13) and get just the number out of that (13). Is there any easier way to keep track of that ID?

Using VB 2008 Express.
Attaching code to buttons when they're clicked is easy when they're static buttons on the form; just double click the button on the form designer and add code to the event.
I have a series of buttons that are generated in a control array, so they're generated in a class, and in the form there are no buttons until runtime.
So newbie question with a probably simple answer...how do I enter code for the click event for buttons that aren't there until they're instantiated as a class at runtime?

I have a gridview which can be filtered from one or more values in a querystring. That all works great: e.g. "?subject=Maths&authorName=Bond_James&type=Magazine" The values passed to the query string come from 3 drop down lists: Subject, Author, Type.What I'd like is when the user presses "Filter" it will take the selected values from the drop down lists and pass them to the querystring - it could be 1 value, 2, or all 3 (like above).
The drop down lists have an item called "All Subjects" / "All Author" / "All Type" each with a value of -1. The idea being that if the user leaves these items selected then the Filter button just ignores them.
Here is my code so far:

I'm having a problem at the moment developing my application. What i need to do is find out how many modems they are connected to my system and send data to each one in turn. I have the programme working for one modem at the moment.
So I can send data to a modem that i specify, for example a modem on COM port 1. I have functions already that will give me a list of COM ports that I need to open.My problem is that i want to dynamically create a new modem object along side existing modems and store them in a collection.

I am working on a project that has some events already created and working. One of these events is called SelectedIndexChanged Event. I am using it for one of my Subs in my frmNewInspection Class, and I am trying to use it for a second Sub and it says that "Event SelectedIndexChanged Cannot Be Found".
The event is created here in a class called LabelComoBox

Im working on my school project (which is a control centre for a LAN gaming club).What i want to be able to do, is read an XML file, which contains details about the games (name, description, path etc), and produce a button for each game in the XML file. These buttons should allow the game to be launched, be named using the games name, and show the description in a designated area
I'm already able to write the game information to an XML file in another form, but have no clue where to start when reading the XML and creating the buttons.

I am using MS Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2000 to develop an application. I wish to make a list of radio buttons when I fetch a particular column from a table. for example, I fire a query that returns to me 10 types of candies, (yummy!). I want to show these candies as options on the form. I want to use Radio Buttons. Now the number of candies are not fixed, it can be any number (less than 15-20). So I wish to dynamically create this 'Array of Radio Buttons' on the form.

It can be at the most 60 buttons presented on the screen, i am trying to get the datagridview to handle this. I am creating an interface with several textboxes and HTML component and several buttons.But when I drag any textbox onto the existing form they line up vertically one under the another or they attach directly together on the same row. I want to be able to drag and drop and place these as well as the HTML component wherever I need on the form. In VB6 I simply selected what I needed and placed it with ease. i need to get some buttons to interact with other buttons on screen when i click then, as each indivual button gives a slightly different result.imagine this:[code]....
then i need then to hide different buttons depending on which button was pressed. so say i pressed button 1 then all the buttons showed but alternativly if i had of pressed 2 then say button 5 and 6 disapear.managed to get one way to work but then i would only ever end up with the first results every time.

I have searched the Internet and this forum for any help on making specialized lists in a Richtextbox instead of the default bulleted list (i.e: Numbered, Upper Roman, Lower Roman, etc.). I know that the default Richtextbox only supports Bulleted lists. I have tried to find a custom Richtextbox control that does it and nothing.I found this code snippet on another site, but after messing with it for a while I just put this on the back-burner while I worked on other things.

I have one list that pushes to another list. Think of a shopping cart situation. If you double-click on the white area after the list of items in the first window, I get a null exception error when I push the info to the second window. How can I avoid that error??
