VS 2008 : Use Virtual Mode In A Listview To Load Data From A Table?

i need to use virtual mode in a listview to load data from a table...what to add in the retrievevirtualitem event... i have a data bindingsource which is attached to the table..
How do i make sure that the changes "done" by a user interacting with a DataRepeater control are reflected in the corresponding database source table? I have used DataRepeater in VirtualMode, do I have to supply my own code that will "actually" make corresponding changes to the actual tables, or is there a way of "configuring" or "binding" the controls on the DataRepeater to the "dataSet" so that the changes made by the user are reflected automatically in the underlying table? Whatever I have tried so far has yielded no results; whenever i edit the data on the control, the actual data is not updated. I attach a file showing the only events under which i have put some code: Load event of the Windows form, and the ItemValueNeeded event of the Repeater Control.
i have a listview in virtual mode loaded via the cachevirtualitems and etrievevirtualitem. now i want it to be filtered as we type in the textbox...Please suggest as to where to filter this...here is the code used to load the items...

why my code isn't deleting the selected row in my ListView from my SQL table? it says it works fine in run time and removes the seleced row from the ListView but when i restart the program its there again.
Obviously this is because my code isnt actually deleting the data from the SQL table but i cant work out why not? the code for my delete button is as follows

I am using query from a SQLite database as the AutocompleteCustomSource for a ComboBox. Also, I want to load data in separate thread. My LoadData method works fine when called directly, but it fails when it is called from the BackgroundWorker thread. When it is called from the background thread, it throws a Specified cast is not valid exception on the csearch.AutoCompleteCustomSource.Add(hh("Taj")) line. Below is my code:

i split a string and store at listbox.The problem that i face now is how to add 4 new column at existing table("customer") and put the listbox data into these 4 new column.
I use the data binding mode to fill data into a list box, that is just fill all of the data in the table. if I want to group one of the table column and only display it in the listbox, how can I get this done? I know how to add a getData query to my table adapter, but how can I bind that new datatable to the list box at runtime?? cuz I need to put the data binding mode information in before I run the application and in the binding mode is no way to choose that getData query.

My requirement is that I want to transfer selective data from listview to Inventory table based on ItemId. Like i have ItemId 1,2 3 4 to 32. I want that only data relating to ItemId 2,3,4 and 5 be transferred to Inventory table and the rest of data be transferred to other table.

The first time i ran the code, it caused no error but no records where loaded into the table. The second time it causes the OleDbException "Table 'TEMP' already exists."explain me wath am i doing wrong? The text file is comma delimited and it has exactly the same number of columns of the TEMP table.

What I would like to know is how do I access the tables in the dataqbase and transfer the data in them into textboxes on the forms in my application. i am developing a point of sales system. currently i have my product code scanned and displayed in a listview. lets say that i have 5 product codes displayed in my first listview. I am currently building a tool which uses access as the backend and excel as the user interface (I am unable to change the applications).I would like to be able to use the listview option, howver I haven't a clue and searching on the internet is causing me a headache.
Basically what I would like to do is get the heading names from the table in access and populate the listview, later on I will what it to look at specifc data to populate the list view.
My connections is already open, I think I'm ok witht he sql, its just the other bits.
I have been trying to create a listview in detail mode which has 2 images (a light is on and one with the light off which represents a boolean value) I have gotten some code which populates the Listview during runtime but i have tried various ways to get the images into this without any success, google has been particularly useless and most examples seem to involve creating an array for each row(great if you have all the data in the first place, my project will perform like a log, it will show an Id, a Name and then 2 colums which should have on/off icons in them.
This is my sample code which works by creating a ListViewItem, adding the items for the row and then adding it. When i did this on my project however it showed nothing in the view (presume i need to refresh it after each add?)
