The VBA Code is
ActiveSheet.Shapes.AddShape(msoShapeRectangle, 105.75, 54.75, 114, 65.25).Select
ActiveSheet.Shapes.AddShape(msoShapeOval, 441, 57, 117.75, 90.75).Select
For VB.Net, I tried looking the prefix for "msoShapeRectangle" or "msoShapeOval" in
Microsoft.Office.Core.MsoShapeType. But couldn't find it.
I'm trying to make a program where three race cars move around a track. with randomizers and timers, I only want to do one lap. My "cars" are pictureboxes. so the starting line's location is (400, 150). Here's the coding for the inside car:
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click TimerRight.Enabled = Not TimerRight.Enabled
In a rectangular array which is correct or considered standard? dim array(row, column) as..or dim array(column, row) as. Not sure it actually matters outside of how it looks in your head.
im trying to make an ovalshape change colour when i click a button?
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click If TextBox1.Text = "hello" Then OvalShape1.FillColor = Color.Red
I am trying to make a shape move in a rectangular route clockwise. Right now I am only able to make the shape go right, down, left but not back up again. Whenever I try to make the shape return to its original position, the shape moves back up at the wrong place.
Public Class Form1 Public movingright1 As Integer Public movingdown1 As Integer
I am creating a simple shape editor, much like the Visual Studio form designer. You can create shapes, select them and move/resize them using drag handles just like in Visual Studio or most other applications (Visio, etc).
I have run into some problems trying to implement a MinimumSize property for the shapes.First of all, this is how I'm resizing the shapes. Each shape has a Resize method, accepting two integers (dx and dy) that represent how much the shape must resize by, and one 'HitStatus', which determines in which direction the resize must take place (for example, from the TopLeft, or Bottom, or BottomRight, etc..)
What it does basically is use a large Select Case statement for the hit status. In each case, it changes the Bounds property of the shape (which determines the location and size), so that it is resized:
I'm making a non-rectangular UI and I've tried different approaches but still can't get the results I want. The following codes are for the user to move the form around.
I'm trying to do a tic-tac-toe console application for practice. I created a case statement for the user to pick which square they want to fill in. [code]...
I'm currently using the following code to take a screenshot of my desktop:
Dim r As Rectangle = Screen.PrimaryScreen.WorkingArea Dim bmp As New Bitmap(r.Width, r.Height) Dim g As Graphics = Graphics.FromImage(bmp)
[code].....
I'd like some direction in taking a screenshot of just a specific area. The area I need is where the rectangle encapsulates. If 've played around with it for a while tyring to figure out how to just take a screenshot of the rectangular area, but can't seem to figure it out.
Private Sub PictureBox1_MouseMove(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs) Handles PictureBox1.MouseMove Label5.Text = "X:" & e.X Label6.Text = "Y:" & e.Y End Sub Dim objectrect As Rectangle = rects(0) Dim object_x As Integer = objectrect.X Dim object_y As Integer = objectrect.Y Label7.Text = object_x Label8.Text = object_y I discovered that these labels are not the same, the mouse move is more accurate. My mouse is currently pointing at the upper left corner of rectangular.
I'm working on a reporting section of code for an inventory app I'm making for my office.I call a text file, read every line into an array then populate information pages with what has been pulled from the text file. For reporting, I want to read every text file in the directory, reading each one into a multidimensional array. Thus I can call and report on each item, i.e.ItemArray(i,2) would be all systems with Windows 2008 EE..I have code that lists all files in the desired directory and counts each file, so I eventually get counts of how deep I need the first level of the jagged array to be. but not until after code execution. Basically how can I write each array of data to the jagged array.[code]But I get a null reference exception. "Use the new keyword to create an object instance".
I need some constant arrays to be ported like this one:
[3] - first dimension [2] - dimensions in each first dimension [3] size of string array is needed in the language i'm porting from, y - 0, o - 1, \0 - 2 = 3 new RevTable[3][2][3] =
I have a form that allows me to drag and drop pictures but I want it to check if the object is in the correct location
*curpic = the current picture that has been selected If curpic.location.X > bx1.Location.X And curpic.location.Y > bx1.Location.Y Then If curpic.location.X < bx1.Location.X + bx1.Width And curpic.location.Y < bx1.Location.Y +
i read data from a textfile into a one dimensional array (string()) and refer to that later on to build a new list with just the lines i want. using chartData as New List (of String) I can load the List collection just fine. Now, I want to send the output to a table so I can bind it to a datagrid. using Split and AddRange breaks the one dimensional data up into new rows but I want this sort of thing:
Note I provided for characters that can be used in a split function (-> and vbTab), which works, but the split in the List gives me a one dimensional array.
I'm creating a macro in excel using vb?What the macro is doing is checking if the row and column headers are same, and if it is then I want it to save the row header (the date in this case) AND the value (a number) into an array, and this is done in a for loop and goes on.... I dont know if I should use 2-D array or a 1-D array that stores 2 values....Not sure at all !Then after the outer most FOR LOOP is done, I want to print those values stored in the array.
Here is what I have so far, this works actually however i'm using 2 seperate arrays, one to store the row header (the date) and another array to store the value. But really I want to make it simpler, shorter and use only one array that stores both of these values as we go through the for loop and at the end of the for loop, all the values from beginning which are stored can be printed out.
Here is my code :
Sub Test () Dim sys_arr() As String ' declaring the array to store the values Dim sys_date_arr() As String 'declaring the array to store the dates
[code]....
This totally works but with 2 different arrays, all I want is just 1 single array (not sure if it is 2-dimensions or still stays as 1 dimension but with 2 different variables)... and then the array can store the date and variable correspondant to the date, and goes to the next row, and do same thing... So the output results should be like for eg :
2/12/2010 37 2/13/2010 41 2/14/2010 66 and so forth
Using VB.NET I created an excel sheet with list of items in dropdownlist.[code]But i can able to view the listbox upto "testing", rest of the items are not diplayed in the listbox why?Is there any limit for dropdown list items, If so how to increase the limit?
My program exports a datatable to excel and then selects the cells in excel that have been populated with the data. I need to create a pivotable using those cells (not the datatable). The below is the code I have so far, but I cannot get the pivotcache section to work. I have looked to the VBA forums for help as well, but I don't think those are helpful since I'm creating this as VB program. Other threads I've been using as reference are:
