What I'm trying to do is grab a specific image from the page and throw it into a picturebox on my form. This isn't difficult and I know how to do it except this time in the source of the page there is no image url yet on the page if i right click copy source on the image there is a full link to it. I am confused and not sure how I could grab that image from the 'front' of the site rather than the 'back'.
View 7 RepliesI know how to grab all the links of a page, and I tried using that same principle to grab the buttons, but I'm not exactly sure how to click one based on a certain parameter.
Here's what I'm trying to do. When the page completes (this code is obviously under Document_Completed), the program should grab all of the buttons on a page and go through each of them, and if any of them have a value of "value1", the program should click that button. This should be done with a for loop.. but like I said, I'm not sure how to accomplish this.
I'm having some issues with grabbing the page source from a site. The page source that you see from pressing CTRL-U is not the same as what is displayed on the site - I had to use firebug to see the 'real' page source (source code changes over time on the same URL).This is what I have to grab the URL:

Whenever i use browser.document.htmltext or anything like that dont get the proper source that i need.
The URL is masked so i can't use some sort of HTTP response request to get the page source.
The website only works with IE and does not behave normally like most sites.
The only way I've been able to get the source that i need is right clicking the webpage in my browser, and selecting "View Source".

I am trying to use itextsharp to take dynamic information and generate a PDF with it.. The PDF's use a background Image on each page which is different and the text content is positioned where it needs to be using the contentByte helper. Thats the plan anyways. I hit a hang up when I tried to add another page and then drop the image and text onto that page... My first page ends up with the image that should be on my second page and the first page image fails to display at all on either page... My code so far is as follows:

View 13 RepliesI'm writing a program in VB.net that gets the source code of a web page with a video on it. it then uses regular expressions to isolate the download link of that video. then it uses "httpwebrequest" and "httpwebresponse" to download the video. my problem arises when certain sites have a page where you have to click continue in order to get to the video page. [URL].. called "The.Matrix.Reloaded.2003.mp4" so i tell my program to get the source code for the url [URL]..but it cant find the video's download link because it's searching for the file in the "continue" page's source code. you can see what i am saying by going to that website above and viewing the source code by right clicking on it. and then click continue and do the same when the video appears and you'll notice that the file is only there in the second one.
So my question is how can i get the source code for the page that the video is playing on and not the page where i have to click continue?
