I added the control to the project successfully, but since I'm not familiar with C#, I haven't been able to convert the code successfully (even after running the code through a few different online C# to VB.NET converters). So... has anyone gotten Webkit.NET (or any Webkit-based browser) to work in VB.NET? Or am I just dreaming? I would love to be able to use the default .NET WebBrowser control for this project, but this project requires doing a few things that the IE browser is not capable of (but Webkit can do it easily).
My school teacher told us to create a small program. We must use at least 3 textbox, 2 buttons and a webbrowser. He said, that this is an easy project, all we need to do is paste the text from textbox one in a box in the browser. I have spent hours trying to figure it out, but I can't seem to find the box ID. (It has no ID at all). Do you know how to get it's class or how would I paste the text from the textbox to the webbrowser text.

I would like for my program to navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines and multiple url links inside of it. I know how to make the webbrowser1.navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines, however I want my webbrowser to navigate to each url every 1-1.5 seconds once button1 is clicked. Yes, my webbrowser1 will navigate to the specified urls via the textbox1.text (multilines) with a button click, but I need the webbrowser1 to navigate in a order sequence from top to bottom of Textbox1.text (multiplelines) every 1 second. im trying to build an app that will simply contain a webbrowser.i have started an WindowsForm project and added the "Webbrowser component" and it works fine when i build the app and test it.although if i try to go to a page containing a FLashmovie etc. there is simply an "White doc icon with an red cross in it" just like it cant display the picture. although it is an flash doc/movie.or in this particular case an audioplayer.I have tried other flash and still the same thing.
View 7 RepliesI recently upgrade a project from vb 6 to 2008. Most of the code runs fine.I have a webbrowser form control that I use to navigate local files and display them with. (i have a file list box that you click which calls the navigate of the browser control). Most file types i have test work fine and display just as they would in a real browser window. Excel, PDFs, etc... so examples of files that utilize "plugins" like acrobat reader inside the browser work great. Tiff files are the exception. No error is thrown in vb, but the browser throws 2 runtime errors, included at the end here. After the browser errors are ignored the program continues execution but will just not display the file.
i can type the path to the file (eg c: estfielsfilename.tif) in a regular browser window and it displays just like it should, inside IE, using a plugin.Prior to upgrading, depending on what was installed on the computer, navigating to a tif would open the tif with picture and fax viewer, or display it with a tif viewer plugin.

My problem is that after all links already opened, when I close my windows forms, sometimes my application suddenly open my default browser automatically and open url that on my URL list. I already tried to make all webbrowser to navigate to "about:blank"to make sure there are not loading any webpage before I close my application but the problem is still occur. The one main thing I needed is the cookie from the main browser control on my form to be passed to the popup window. Below is the only way I've been able to open the popup and pass the Document.Window.Opener value to it so that when java script is executed, it knows where the opener window is. I am getting the following error right now when trying to set the cookie from my webbrowser control to the iexplore instance of the popup window that opened.

The problem is, in order for the submit button to activate, you have to atleast type in 1 letter for it to update and make it send. The problem is when I do document.getElementById("p1").innerHTML= "SSSS" it works but it wont update the submit button to allow me to submit the form. What should I do?
