VS 2010 - Display In Result Textbox Is The Word That Many Number Of Times

I have set up text boxes for user to pick a number 1-20 and to enter a word as well. Then, press submit button. What's supposed to display in result textbox is the word that many number of times. For example if the number is 5 and the word is hello, then "hellohellohellohellohello" should appear. I don't know how to complete my For...Next function to append the word to the result.

I'm looking to write a very simple program which asks a user to enter a number between 20 and 50. The program would display the letter 'I' in a textbox to correspond to the number the user entered (i.e. if the user entered 34 then 34 I's would be displayed. I'm not entirely sure of what commands would make this happen.

I need to have two pieces of software, made in vb where one encrypts the contents of a .txt file, and the other decrypts it, and then picks one word at random and displays it each time a button is pressed, but never displays the same word. Or, if there was a way to hard code it into the program as there is only 5 words that would be better.

The problem is, once it has found a duplicate item, it stops counting.What I'm trying to say is, it finds ASP 2 Advanced as a duplicate, with its "click time", it finds Dreamweaver Advanced as a duplicate, but doesn't find its "click time"I need to find the items, then add together all their respected click times, for example: ASP 2 Advanced has 5, then 2 So the total must be 7 Dreamweaver Advanced has 1 and 1 so the total must be 2?

i need some help here, i want a result that shown a total number from student who passed some subjects. Let say there are 8 student who got A in subject chemistry, then the output should display result something like " there are 8 students who got A in chemistry". And also is it possible to combined the result, for example i want the output something like "there are "X" students who got A in chemistry and physics". where "X" is variable (number). it should trigger when winform is loaded. im using bindingsource.filter, but failed. because using bindingsource.filter need the input from user then it produce the output. whereas i want the result shown when the winform is loaded. How can i achieve this.

Okay, so basically I'm trying to have my application randomly select items from a (multiselect) listbox. I want the user to enter the amount of items they would like randomly selected and it should all happen at the same time. I have the random shuffle down but it only selects one song each time you click the button. How can I loop this code as many times as the user specifies in the textbox?

In my form, I have textbox + combobox to enter datas which are saved to ms access. I have search option too. Also i have DataGrid to show the result of the search. What I want now is, 1. To show the search result in the textbox/combox as well (I already am able to make the result show on datagrid)2. the problem with this code is that it only inserts the serial number of the LAST checked checkbox and the number of entries of it depends on the number of checked checkbox for example ... if I checked the rows with the serialnumber 123 and 55652341, first the row with the serial number 123 then second 55652341, only 55652341 appears in the database and it is entered twice(twice because two checkboxes are checked)

i am trying to make a coin toss program where you toss a coin a certain number of times then repeat it a certain number of times.

I have a label that is supposed to display a word for 5 seconds and then move down the list in a text file and display the next word.I'm oddly able to make it work in random mode, but not going down the list in order.. random would be ok if used words didn't come up again.

My app is a Reader for personal use. I have it setup By Books of the Bible and by Chapters and verses.

I have this program generating a firstname and lastname from a file. When I run this program I enter information in three textboxes. The first two are the salary low and high(salary1.text, salary2.text) and the last one is the number of "copies"(copies.text) that I want.. When I put a number such as 10 in the text box it outputs some of the same names. The firstname file has around 100 records and the lastname file has about 1000 records Why is it generating the same name The problem is even worse if I do something like 1000 copies.. it outputs the same thing 8 times and then does something different another 8 times

So I need to get a button to take the number that a user enters into a textbox, calculate the factorial from that number, and display it in another textbox. I can't seem to get this to come out right.
