When I run the program it will populate the listview but when i delete the selected item it will clear all of my records in my listview. . . .can anyone elp me with this??This is my code. . . .

I have two listboxes: 'listbox1' for what the password is for, and 'listbox2' for the password. I also have a remove button. I would like it so when you press the remove button, the selected item in listbox1 is removed and the password in listbox2 is also deleted. The passwords are stored in two settings: what, and pw. Ok, so I have a listview on one form, and when a button is pressed it opens up a new form with the contents of the selected listview item and it's subitems in a series of textboxes. The user can then change the data in the textboxes and either press save to make the changes or cancel to close the window. What command would I use to change the selected listview item and subitems to whatever is in the boxes?

I'm trying to delete a number of records in a table from the last and forward. My idea is to use sql like this: delete top " & variable & " * from table where ID = something It gives me a general sytax error. Is it at all possible? Fuga. I'm trying to figure this small issue out, I need to keep whatever selection the user selects highlighted/selected even if clicking in another row in the listview. The only way I could get this to work prior was with 'lvwStrd.Items.Item(0).Selected = True..However this breaks my program as the index isn't correct, due to the '0', is there a way I can keep whatever item they selected selected even while clicking other rows in the listview(they are empty, there are only one to two options at a time).

I have a form to manage student. When I add, the data appear on ListView and TreeView at the same time and the same data. Everything works perfectly.
But one proble about Delete button. I choose the line from the ListView and Delete it. The ListView delete the item perfectly. But I don't know how to delete the item on ListView and automatically delete the item on the TreeView.
Note: When you insert the data to ListView and TreeView. When you fill the information into the textbox. Remember after that choose class on TreeView and Click BUTTON ADD.

I have a list of registered users in gridview...
I want when i click on delete button on selected item in gridview, then the record of user will be deleted from the whole database... on single delete command of sqldatasource in gridview....
I thought that instead of directly downloading the images, usic, or whatever to the computer right away-why not have the user pic and choose. So, the transfering of the items that the user might want to download is sent to a new form. I have a picturebox that shows up a X symbol showing that it can't be loaded.
