I am trying to get everybody from the FriendList who is not already on the GuestList to display in a Repeater control. After reading the forum I was able to append .First() to noPic at the myNoPic declaration and finally get a result but that only gave me the first element. Does anybody have any advice on how to accomplish this?
I need to take 6 user entered dates and compare them to a date pulled from a database & stored in a variable. If greater than 6 weeks, then some action needs to take place.When writing the code, I get the following message (before compilation). Value of type 'Date' cannot be converted to 'System.TimeSpan'. [code] Within my code the 'dt' in the line above is underlined with the error message appearing on mouseover. I have tried using CType, as in dt = CType(Session("dt_occurence"), DateTime) in the hopes that might work, but it doesn't do it.

I was wondering how you can automate the top label so it automatically comes up with the date when the program is run.Plus, I need to know how to display the dates difference (how many days have elapsed between the system date and the user's chosen date) in the bottom label.

View 20 RepliesI am getting a really bizarre error and it makes no sense at all.Basically I have a user entity which has a Password property. This property is of Type Binary, the server data type being Binary(512).I am reading this value in and converting it to a byte array. However whenever I run my code I am getting a completely unrelated error of Unable to cast object of type 'System.Guid' to type 'System.String'.This strikes me as very odd since I am not using a property or variable of type string or GUID anywhere in this procedure where it falls over.

AlteredDate = SelectedDay & "/" & SelectedMonth & "/" & SelectedYear would always work defaulting to DD/MM/YYYY before the clean install. The program now runs an error "Conversion from string "13/8/2009" to type Date is not valid.. How do I change the default back to DD MM YYYY or format it to that?
