Windows Menu Items Does Not Show New Documents

I have created a menu item called "Windows", I want to list all open documents within that menu. This is the code I have so far.
'This sub routine lists all the open documents from a menu item

My problem is that my "Windows" menu item does not show New Documents, it only lists saved documents that I open.

i've created toolstripmenuitems in design time.I named it to mnuUser,mnuKaryawan and form menu based on it too..I create a table that holds the data like this

I'm wondering how to achieve suppose the admin logged in,then the menus will be shown?

I have a menu strip. In the menu strip I have something for some saved urls in the database, I called it Bookmarks. So I'm trying to fetch the items from the database and have it load in to the menu items.. but it keeps adding items and I only want them added once.

I am needing to be able to access excel and adobe acrobat menu items and popup Windows (mostly acrobat). Is there a way to do this besides using mouse clicks and sending key strokes (come on, this aint applescript). There are some menu actions I need to automate and I need to be able to discover if a window did open and if so I need to do things in it.

When I right click on the Forms header it was showing the default windows menu with Items (Restore, Move ,Resize , Maximize..). I need to display the Context menu which we have created instead of display Windows menu. We want to hide the windows default.

Currently developing an automation tool to test new desktop OS builds at work. Need to be able to open menu items on toolbarwindow32 windows (main menu of explorer windows). Now this requires retrieving information of all the buttons on the toolbar, obtaining the button ID of desired menu and sending a WM_COMMAND message with the ID. I'm having trouble retrieving button information.Now im using openprocess, virtualallocex to allocate virtual memory in the target process, and then sending the TB_GETBUTTON message with a pointer to the allocated memory then reading out the result. Allocation and the send message works fine but reading the processmemory back out is failing but not returning an error code, getlastwin32error returns nothing either.

As mentioned above, the read process memoery call fails, the return value is -1 The documentation states it returns 0 for fail, non zero for pass. Wondering if the problem lies in incorrect use of types in pinvoke calls or the struct tbbutton is incorrect, or my use of a pinned pointer is wrong,or whether I need to use adjusttokenpriviledges to ensure I have rights.Though I'm running under admin and examples similar to this don't use it.

I have combed these forums and the 'net and can't find an answer to my specific problem. My menu strip disappeared (after deleting a small secondary form within my project). I therefore created a new strip and while recreating the menu items realized that the original menu items are still present, showing in my properties list. I have checked my design file as well and the original menu strip is definitely gone but the original menu items are there. I don't have many items so I would have no problem just deleting the original ones but I can't see them to delete them! I have checked and they are all set to visible. I have also moved everything on my form to see if it is behind anything else.

Error List is displayed as follows:(I've excluded the icons)0 Errors 0 Errors 0 Warnings 0 Warnings 0 Messages 0 Messages The standard toolbar images are also displayed in 'duplicate'
This is before I open a project and visual studio is on the start page. The 'duplicates' do not go away even when a project is open.When project is open, Solution explorer displays duplicate images as well

However the AndAlso should short circuit in the case where the item is not a ToolStripMenuItem and it doesn't seem to be doing so (as TypeOf xItem Is ToolStripMenuItem=false in this case)?

I've been struggling with this problem in VB.net for a while: whenever I try to access the My Documents, My video's or simular in Windows 7, I get an access denied error. The program that uses this code is a file-backup application, so it's important it can access everything. I've been asked to get the page counts for documents stored as tif files. What I have now is looping through our third party software to open them and then get the page count. I can't stop the image from flashing and it is very slow. Does anyone know of a way to loop through them quickly and can the page counts (one image can have many documents)?

I need to find a Windows forms Text edit which can handle MS Word documents correctly.That is documents with Images, textboxes etc (.doc, .docx).I have tried Devexpress Xtrarichedit and TXText Control but when you load a MS Word Document (.doc, .docx) the document does not appear as it does in MS Word.That is Textboxes overlapping images are misaligned or have no transparent background option, so the white background of the textbox hides part ot the image.Has anybody had experience with 3rd party Document .net editors which mamage MS Word Documents correctly?

I noticed that adding a MenuStrip (from the Toolbox) to my form design doesn't yield a menu bar like many native Windows applications. Instead I get a menu bar like Visual Studio's own. None of the style settings for MenuStrip appear to mimic the much more common native menu bar.Is there a way to add a menu bar to my Windows Forms application that looks the same as the one you see in Notepad, Task Manager and others? (Preferably with the designer, but I wouldn't mind adding it programmatically either.)

I am using Visual Studio 2008 (with focus in VB.NET). I want to add tooltip to the menu items in the menus I have created.Now I know that menu items have a property call tooltip and if I type text there, tooltips are displayed. But I want to use tooltip control for that because it gives me flexibility of changing colours or adding a heading to tooltips.I was able to bound tooltip control for controls on forms like button, textbox etc. But how can I achieve the same for menu items. Basically I want that my tooltips for menus have a heading also and If I want I can change colours.

I am able to have checked menu items show the variables that I need to show, but they don't uncheck themselves unless I go back and click them. I want to have only one checkmark on a country at a time...is there any way? I've tried if...elseif , but that doesn't work....example below (If I only want Mexico checked and NOT United States, but both are checked still).

I downloaded a nice menu control from this webpage [URL]. I added the control to my toolbox, and dragged and dropped it onto my form. The problem is I can't see any way of adding menu items. There is a property named items, but that doesn't seem to add menu items to the menu. There doesn't seem to be any other property that would add the items. Any way of adding code to add the menu items.
