i've created toolstripmenuitems in design time.I named it to mnuUser,mnuKaryawan and form menu based on it too..I create a table that holds the data like this

I'm wondering how to achieve suppose the admin logged in,then the menus will be shown?

I can get the form names to be populated in to the menu and can open it my question is how do i set where the menu items will be placed. Eg File with FormHierarch 0 will be the very first one. Exit with FormHierarch 0.1 will be the very first one under File

I have a webForm app that registers a user in the database based on the information provided with a web service, auto-generates a random password and username, and e-mails the user a link to take an application based on the marketing company selected. How do I get only the currently logged in user's groups to show up under the MarketingCo_DropDownList. Each user allowed access to the system will have membership in at least one of the marketing groups as defined by the web.config. For example, a user that is currently logged in and belongs to the BIG group under location "algACOMP_user_BIG", will only be able to see BIG in the Marketing Company drop down list. A user that is currently logged in and belongs to the NIS group located under "algACOMP_user_NIS" will only be able to see NIS in the Marketing Company drop down list.

View 3 RepliesWe have an application that has a main form with a map on it. Right now the paradigm is to have forms that are displayed using menu items to display information to the user. Most of these forms are modal forms, but a couple are non-modal forms that interact with the map. For some of the forms, it really would make for a better user experience if we could dock them in the main form of the app and allow the user to see both the form and the map. For instance. We could have a list of map features in a docked window, and select one of the items on the list and have the map zoom to that feature. Or do the reverse: let the users select a map item and have a docked window that shows details of the feature. Sounds great, but I wonder about what sort of gotchas we may encounter. In particular, what if we have two windows docked at the same time? Could we get tangled up in our event code?

View 3 RepliesI have combed these forums and the 'net and can't find an answer to my specific problem. My menu strip disappeared (after deleting a small secondary form within my project). I therefore created a new strip and while recreating the menu items realized that the original menu items are still present, showing in my properties list. I have checked my design file as well and the original menu strip is definitely gone but the original menu items are there. I don't have many items so I would have no problem just deleting the original ones but I can't see them to delete them! I have checked and they are all set to visible. I have also moved everything on my form to see if it is behind anything else.

I've been trying to figure out the easiest way to populate a menu to allow for easy updating in the future. I would like to add anything to a specific folder and when the program runs it would be populated by the contents of the specific folder. Is this possible? What should I look into to do this? I'm trying to make a menu based off of an asp.net sitemap. How do you nest the sitemap nodes so that they all appear on the same level. Here is what I have:
