XML LINQ AddRange ListView / Nothing Being Displayed

May 9, 2012I have a node that is called AutoEnabled. If this is true the check state of the listviewitem needs to be checked.

Backup Registry - Keys / Values Displayed In ListView?
Nov 22, 2009I have a program which will search the entire registry for a keyword and display all the matching keys/values in a listview. The user can then select the desired keys/values and delete them. Since this a program that deals with registry, I want to give the users a way to backup the registry before they do the delete operation. I would like to know what is the best approach for this.
3 questions here:
1- Should I backup the entire registry ?
2- Should I backup only the keys/values that the user has selected in the listview ?
3 - Can I have the sample code or appropriate URL's which describes this.
Developing An Inventory Management System / Loaded And Displayed On Listview
Jun 6, 2011am developing an inventory management system. have two listview controls. one for ITEM and another for details pertaining date, quantity, cost, issued to and so on. i want a vb.net code that if a given item in listview A is clicked, listview B details are cleared and then the details of that item are loaded and displayed on listview B.there is no criteria of loading like between a range of dates; just all records in the database.

I have used a dropdown box for the user to select which option they would like to select - sound or message box to popup. The data for the task will be stored in a listview box. This string combination is ok:-

So to summarize, the prefix number can only have one unique name assigned to it, and that unique combo can be used as often as you like.

Aug 13, 2011I have a main window with a datagrid in the upper half and a tabcontrol in the lower half. The datagrid contains a list of companies. One of the tabs of the lower tabcontrol contains the information about contact persons corresponding to the company selected in the upper datagrid.
On the tab I place a usercontrol.

When I run the application everything works without errors. The Sap number of the selected company is passed to the function UpdateContactsXCompanyDatagrid correctly. The Me.dgContactsXCompanyList.DataContext seems to be assigned, but the contact persons' datagrid is EMPTY. No row is diplayed.

Apr 9, 2010In vb.net (2008), I want to be able to control when a contextMenuStrip (context menu) is displayed. I don't want it to always appear when the right mouse button is clicked...only when certain criteria within my program are met. I figure I would use addHandler but I'm not exactly clear on how to completely control the opening of the contextMenuStrip. I know I would issue a call to the "open" method to render the contextMenuStrip. However, I am unclear as to how to completely take over control of when to render the contextMenuStrip.
