I want to add a label in a specific cell in my table, but everything goes wrong when I do so.
I make a label and put it in column 2 row 0: table.Controls.Add(UI.createLabel("test", 9, "sans serif", "bold"), 2, 0)
That goes fine..... label "test" goes exactly where it supposed to go. But when I put it in column 2 row 1, this happens: table.Controls.Add(UI.createLabel("test", 9, "sans serif", "bold"), 2, 1)
I am having problem setting focus on specific cell in my Datagridview1 . On Form1 when clicking on cell 3 in any row, I am callig a Dialog1. However, when done working with it, and closing the Dialog1, the focus returns to cell 3 in my Datagridview1 . I like to set the focus on the next cell(4) making it the current cell.
I have tryed :
DataGridView1.SelectionMode = DataGridViewSelectionMode.CellSelect
DataGridView1.CurrentCell = DataGridView1.Item(4, e.RowIndex)
DataGridView1.CurrentCell = DataGridView1.CurrentRow.Cells(4)
And few other things, I am always getting this exception: Operation is not valid because it results in a reentrant call to the SetCurrentCellAddressCore function.
I have a bound data grid view that is linked to a table in my Access Database.
I want to make data entry easy for the user and also error free by limiting what they can put in each cell. How can I make specific columns in my DGV have a dropdown button and add a range to it?
I know how to do it manually:

But I don't want to do add each column manually...

I inserted a calendar icon onto a spreadsheet and assigned a calendar macro to it. When I click on the icon, the calendar pops up and allows me to select a date, but the date shows up in whatever cell the cursor happens to be in. Does anyone know how I can link the date selected on the calendar to a specific cell?

I am making a program which remembers my last selected row in a data table. I have done this by adding a column with a CheckBox, upon CellClick the CheckBox is checked, and upon ellLeave it is unchecked and the new cell is checked, after every action a Update command is run. There will never be more than one row with a checked cell in the DataGridView,however, the data table is in a relationship with other tables, so there may be more checked cells in the data table itself. My problem now is selecting the row with that cell when I open the program and when changing between other data tables and back again.All solutions I found on selecting a specific cell in a DataGridView are referring to index numbers, and in my case I need it to find a data value in a column, I do not know the specific row, only that one row contains the value of True while everything else is False.

How to select one cell and mulitple cells in a table using the webbrowser control. E.g. If the web page (local) that I'm viewing in the webbrowser control has tables present in it. When I click on a cell in the table I want to be able to edit the attributes of the cell like adding an align or a class attribute. I think this is possible without using mshtml which I'm trying to avoid as I can't find much user friendly documentation on it.
The text in the webbrowsercontrol is loaded with the foll:

So I am guessing that I need to be able to detect when a cell is selected (<td></td> tag etc) or clicked on and then from that point I can edit the attributes of that specific cell (<td class="jimmy"></td> tag etc).
I need to display a list with 2 columns and "n" rows (first column will be an IP address and second column the status - say connected, failed, etc).The case is that I need to be able to SET and GET the value of a certain cell. The first has a column for the users Id, Name, and a column called Points.The second has a column for Id and one called Letters.What i want to do is, after the user enters the id number, and the user clicks checkboxA it should add a certain number, lets say 5, to the "points" cell for that id#(in the first database), and it should put the letter "a" in the "letters" column (of the second database) for that id number. Also, if a user deselects a checkbox it should remove the "a" from letters and subtract 5 from points.Also there will be different letters in the "letters" cell, so i cant just clear it, but i have to remove the specific letter.

The following code above does write to column 3 row 1, but if you say .rows(1), i get "there is no row at position 1". So, in summary if I have 7 columns, and I created a second row I want to write to column 3 and the 2nd row.

how can I put the blinking cursor inside a specific cell on form load? I want the effect to be kind of like when you have a form with text boxes and when you set the tab order correctly, the first textbox will automatically have the focus and you can start typing right away. On a related question: how can I make the enter key activate the form's accept button when you're inside a cell?
