Notice the fields prodno1 and prodno2 in the table structure.. this is part of a number of sql statements i need to run and put inside a loop. my problem is i want to automatically use this same code such that on the next loop, this sql statement is going to be:

- the table name is now r3 from r2 in the first SQL statement
- there are now prodno1, prodno2 and prodno3 instead of just prodno1 and prodno2
- in the WHERE clause, the p.prodNo becomes p.prodNo2
And so on and so forth.. so for the 3rd loop
- there's going to be r4
- there's going to be prodno4
- in the WHERE clause i will use p.prodNo3
I think what I have here is an environmental issue. When I attempt to fill a dataset from a VFP table I am getting an error message that says "Index Not Found". The reason I feel its environmental is because the process was working perfectly fine last week. The client I am trying to run this program for runs it once per month to integrate one of their FoxPro systems with SQL. It's been in working order since November of last year, but suddenly now I'm getting this error. Some things I have looked at already are updating VFP drivers for both OleDB and ODBC.

I have a foxpro table <b> INVENT.DBF</b> linked in MS ACCESS. When I tried to do a search in the table from vb.net application, it is taking a long time. So I want to index the foxpro table and then use it for search.

As part of a larger application, I need to IMPORT (not link) a FoxPro 2.6 DBF into a Access DB.I toyed with using a Access MODULE and in the module, using the docmd.TransferDatabase method.I have looked for days at different samples and I cannot seem to find the answer.This application is intended to be distributed with NO ASSURANCE the user will have the FoxPro OLE driver installed. What I would like to do is when I am viewing a member's details, if I click a button 'Borrow DVD for Member', the member's ID number transfers over to the Borrow DVDs table in the Member ID which also would hold some information from the DVD Information table, but I'm sure if i can figure out how to do this firstly, I will be able to apply the same rule and work it out myself.I have been trying to use a query statement like;

Here's a sub routine that fills a data set with a table which I queried using an Inner Join statement. This output table, has all the required fields and the query works fine. However I want it like so:
If a student doesn't have a StudentPrediction.PredictedGrade Field to JOIN and it IS Empty.. Then I still would like it to display the students information just leaving the StudentPrediction.Predicted field empty.
You see I am using a ListView to display the data from when I fill the ListView, but it will only display for people who have a Predicted Grade naturally. So what steps would I need to take to ensure it displays all the information in the Student's table AND for the students who do have predictions that would also be displayed. If the student has no data on PredictedGrades then that column would be blank but the rest of the information still displayed.

Probably a simple question for most of you. I'm putting members of a group into a SQL Database so we can better manage attendance and 'points' that they earn for doing work. I've written the program in VB and have the SQL server running fine. However, I have created a separate table to handle the points and have marked the relationship between the table - the column is named 'PointID', and should be unique for each person. When I add a new user to the database, I want it to automatically assign a value to that without me having to do anything extra beyond pressing save. From this PointID, it should identify the user and it will bring up the person's points.
