I am currently working on a asp.net page coded via Visual Basic.On the page I have these image buttons that are dynamically generated based on the SQL Data the page retrieves.Unfortunately I could not figure out how to bind a click function to each of these buttons.the [Control Name].onClick = "Function Name()" is for clientSide scripts.and I need to bind

I am writing a web page, on this web page there is a txtStart and txtEnd. Next to them I have Calendar ImageButtons. I would like to code it so when the ImageButton is clicked a calendar popup appears and when they select a date on the popup it goes away and the date is populated into the txt. Format MM/DD/YYYY. Can anyone help me? I have been looking online for hours now and only find solutions for C# users or for a seperate page all together. I am writing my code in VB and I cannot make new pages. I'm adding multiple combobox controls to a form dynamically, but am having a problem with one of the event handlers. The first event handler I've added (for the Leave event) fires, but the second (for the TextChanged event) does not. I've tried reversing the order when adding the handlers and I get the same results (TextChanged does not fire). Here's a code snippet for adding the controls, and the code for the events. I've added a breakpoint while testing to verify - but it never hits the code.

When the user selects an "account" we dynamically create a linkbutton with the selected dates. However, the linkbutton onclick handler doesn't fire when the button is clicked.

I'm creating an online exam page with 30 radiobuttons that are created dynamically at runtime. How will I get the click event of each radiobutton and tag it in my method that I will check if the next question is need to be jump or escape. Example: If I'm in question 10 and answer = "Yes", redirect me to Question 15, else go to the next question

I do a lot of programming in VS 2010 on my Windows XP Pro PC. Recently I tried testing my software on a Windows 7 Home PC. For some reason, all of the controls on my forms are slightly misplaced. I also get a bunch of unhandled exceptions I don't get on my pc. For example, one exception said it couldn't access a registry key. Another said it couldn't find the part of a path (it didnt specify which path). What's up? Why is it doing this? My Win XP PC tricks me into thinking my apps are bug free. Guess not.

I'm trying to dynamically change the click event of my tray icon balloon and remove it in the handler. This is the line in the handler:

I have a GridView which is continually rebound using a timer and is within an updatePanel so the page doesn't refresh continually (each row has a countdown sequence so the gridview needs to continually get updated). Inside the gridview i have an imagebutton with an OnClick method. Previously to get the OnClick method to fire I would make sure the gridView wasn't in an UpdatePanel and that the pageload databinding of the gridview was in an "If Not IsPostBack". With the Timer though I can't have the gridview binding an an "If Not IsPostBack" and it needs to be in an UpdatePanel. Is there a way to use an UpdatePanel and "If Not IsPostBack" and still get the OnClick method to be called?

How can you add a click event to dynamically created menu item?I thought I could do something like
Loop through all the items in the Menu1.DropDownItems then create a mousedown even on the item and execute an action based off that.I'm new to VB and was wondering what logic to use. Will that even work? How will the events be saved through the life of the application?

I created a function that retrieves information on which checkboxes are checked. It returns an array which the information coupled to the checking of those checkboxes. Those checkboxes and the matching textboxes are dynamically created at runtime in that same function. I'm pausing the application to wait for a button to be pressed. I'm trying to find a way to use btnDone.Click event directly because the code always reloops my function once more recreating the controls.

I have web page with four grid views. Each grid is hidden under a div tag. Whenever user clicks on div the data grid corresponding to the div is shown. I have binded data to the grid views at the page load only, since the data size is huge I cannot load the data binding at the page as the time taking to page load is huge. I was thinking a way that grid view gets data loaded only when user clicks on the corresponding div tag

I am trying to code for is as follows: Construct a two dimensional array and enter into it a sales id number followed by twelve variables which represent sales totals made by the sales agent. this must provide space for five agents. I can declare the proper array and have done so as follows
Dim Sales (4,12) As Double. I also crafted a click event which will count from 1-12 (which excludes the sales id number) and disables the sales id number so it cannot get used. [Code]
What I am trying to do is setup a function within the same click event procedure which stores the current SalesAmount as a variable in the array and moves to the next slot to get ready to store the next SalesAmount. However I have no idea where to go from here. I have tried a ton of different pieces of code which are either all littered with errors or do not return a value when I call it. Calling the total of each row and the total for all rows is something I need to do for display and I am not one hundred percent sure I know how to do that either.

I understand the page lifecycle and how i need to add the dynamic controls on page_init if I want to take advantage of viewstate. Also I know that I should try to avoid dynamic controls when possible. The dynamic controls are created depending on an object that is created from custom event arguments sent from a custom treeview. Problem is I need viewstate so I need to create them in page_init but I don't have the event args to create the object that tell me what controls to add until later in the lifecycle.

I have a ReportViewer showing a report that is bound to a dataset. The dataset gets its data from a Access database backend. I have a separate form that allows the user to add/update/delete data. My problem is when the user makes changes to the data using the data entry form, the report does not reflect those changes.
