I added a groupbox and changed its heading's font and fore color. The problem is that, when I add a button to this groupbox, it automatically changes its font and fore color to that of the groupbox!How to prevent this from happening?

When I try to rename them Button1, Button2 and Button3 to match code, I get a Dialog box which, if I look at Details, says the Button name is already in use.
Is there something I can do to enable the renaming?

I want If someone has selcted Arabic from the combobox, the richtextbox down to be formatted such that whichever letter a person types in it is in Arabi. The code I am using is stilling giving me english characters. When I change manuall by changing the regional settings, i can use the Arabic characters. My Form1 is set to 1920, 1080 but it keeps changing itself to something slightly smaller. it just changed to 1916, 1054. Last time it changed to 1920, 1062. I'm not changing anything, it just does it automatically.

I have a lot of radio buttons in a groupbox. Normally I will check each radio button individually using If radiobutton1.Checked = True Then.
But I think maybe there is smart way to check which radio button being checked in a groupbox.

In my project I would like to call an exe so that exe pop up will come with a Login Screen with 2 buttons Login and Cancel.In those 2 buttons, login button is focussed default. Now my application should invoke the Login button automatically. Means there won't be Pressing ENTER KEY or Mouse Button Etc. Just after the Login Screen, there is a 2nd Screen that has 5 different Radio buttons, the 1st Radio button is always the default. So I also want to click this radio button automatically without using the keyboard or the mouse. y intention is that, the application should do that automatically.

i have a sort of problem when i try to add some linklabels in my groupbox. I used this

I've placed many of them on different forms. But now, I want to change the backcolor of this controls. I change the backcolor in the class, rebuild the project, and the backcolor didn't change. Why? I don't want to place the groupbox again, it would be too much work. It should be a chance to do this whithout placing the groupboxes again.
View 1 RepliesI have several custom classes in a VB.NET (VS2008) project which are related to each other through generic list collections. The lower tier classes refer directly to some of the parent classes (to make it easier to refer backwards up the chain). My question is, is it possible to add the reference to the parent class when the item is added to a collection, when that collection is a property?
Below is some sampling of code to illustrate.

In the code above I have the FlexServer class which refers has two lists as properties, one for FlexLicense and one for Modules. The FlexLicense class has a property to refer back to the FlexServer class that "owns" it. In order to update this property in code, I have to add the FlexLicense to the FlexServer.FlexLicenses list AND set the FlexLicense.FlexServer property. What I am looking for is, is there a way (in the property definition or wherever) to both add the item to the list and alter it at the same time?
