I am trying to do an application where several textboxes and buttons will be added to a groupbox.

I might have anywhere between 1 and 20 rows of these textboxes and buttons. I can add buttons on from.. but how would i add the textboxes or buttons to the say Procedure for MyButton_Click... Handles MyButton_1.click, MyButton_2.click
I have five groupbox control. each groupbox contain two radiobutton.
In groupbox1 if I select
radiobutton1 then I need to insert value as "Y"
or
radiobutton2 then I need to insert value as "N"
Likewise I need to do in all groupbox...........
as always I'm here asking you a probably stupid question, but I'm upgrading an old vb 6 project, so I'd like to have all the new code more object oriented and as compact as possible.I have a groupbox containing some textboxes. Each of them is filled with the "selecteditem.tostring" property of a listbox everytime I press a button (call it "OK BUTTON"), and everything works fine.

I am having trouble with .net again. I have a series of 10 text boxes. I want to be able to populate them from an array and read there values into another array. In vb6 I would create a text box array with 10 text boxes / indices. I could then populate them by txtbox(i).text = arrVal(i) and to reference them arrVal(i) = txtbox(i). I am stumped I can create 10 text boxes on a form if I have to, but I want them somehow tied to each other as they were in vb6.

I have a need to add 16 radio buttons to a groupbox but I want to be able to select 2 radiobuttons per groupbox. (2 vertical columns of 8 radio buttons each) The radiobuttons are created dynamically and each set of eight have different names to distinguish them. Do I really have to create 2 groupboxes and put each set of 8 in each groupbox and put those groupboxes into my parent groupbox? Is that it with radio buttons...if they are all in 1 groupbox then there is no way to select more than one at once?
View 1 RepliesI am having a problem doing select case inside my groupbox.I have a bunch of buttons in a groupbox, each button will do a same function only with a different values when clicked.For example, let's say i have 3 buttons in the groupbox for now.[code]The function will display a message in a textbox.My problem here is, the message shown in the textbox will always be Case "C", the last 1. I jumbled the order, anything that's last will appear instead which I think it's because of the For Each. I tried a do while loop but I do not have any conditions i can think of to use for it. I also tried using IFs instead of Select Case but not successful.

What I am doing is looping through each textbox in groupbox3. Then checking if the counter(total number of grades that are inputted in the form) are greater than the totalBoxes(which is set to 0) and finally I am putting the actual grade(A,B,C,D) into the textbox. The problem is that it is starting the loop at textbox 8(I have 10 textboxes) for some reason and going from there. Does anyone know what the problem is with my code?

When the panel is scrolled (viewing the bottom of the panel for example) and a control is added, it looks like it is added assuming the top left corner of the panel is still at 0,0 when in fact it may be 0,500. I've searched until my eyes and fingers feel as if they are going to bleed. I cannot come up with the answers I'm looking for. I want to essentially create an inventory system without using a database (part of why the eyes are bleeding, keep getting directed on side tangents), that is fed by the user. IE, User enters a name of a product, it is added in to an array. As a designer I will not know the exact number of elements to be held within the array. The user will enter their chosen item in to a text box. So I'm looking for a way to take the value in the text box and add it to the array. I believe I would use the reDIM function to do this, but beyond that I've got nothing. I'm unsure of how to reference the value stored in a text box.

I'm trying to get information from a text box into an array. I've tried everything that I can think of from assigning it to a local variable then into the array, to assigning it straight to the array, but I can't manage to loop it all together and achieve functionality.

Now, my issue is that this works great if you use the mouse and click around in the textboxes. However, if you hit the TAB key to move around on the screen, the LostFocus event doesn't seem to work. All of my textboxes backcolor remains lightblue. What did I do wrong? What do I need to do to fix this problem?

On my form, i've got some textboxes and some richtextboxes. I'm using the following code, to search through the text properties of each of the two types of control. see below:-

I have a USB interface connected to my PC which is used to control DC motors (robotics). Supplied with the interface is a VB program that produces a form with text inputs (motor speed) and tick boxes (motor on/off). This program calls upon a supplied .dll for the interface. I have played around with this program and have added extra buttons to 'stop all' or 'run two motors simultaneously' etc.What I really want to do is run a sequence of events, for example:
-Motor 1 on, speed 50, run time 5 seconds
-Motor 1 off for 2 seconds
-Motor 2 on etc, etc
I have a form in which their is a GroupBox control. I set the Font's Bold property to TRUE. I know that by default any other control put inside a gorupbox will inherit the Font's property settings. I have textboxes and labels in which I manually reset the Font Bold property to FALSE, however, I have a DataGridView that I did the same thing with but whenever I run the app in test mode, it reverts back to the Fonts' Bold property as TRUE rather than FALSE.

I used this file in other form and when I click at the button the event is fired in form2. I understand this is not hte efficient way to add so many buttons. As it is a calendar, so I got to add dates to buttons based on month selected.I am finding that part difficult. For this feature, I think I should add buttons dynamically. But I can't make out how to add buttons to each cell of the table. Later on each buttons text will also change. I have added the code written so far :

I am building a program that does inventory control. I have multiple forms connected to same database. One of the forms I have a search function. When I was using the controls at the top of the page, it was working. I added buttons for the controls and now the database wont store anything. I can open the input form and I can add multiple inputs, close the form, open it back up, and nothing left in the database. I have also noticed that my database icon in the data source has a small red X in it. When I click on the icon, it is showing the db as closed. I can refresh it and it opens, until I run the program and it closes.
