Is it possible to make a checkbox large? So far, the sources i've read said that it's nearly
impossible.I've tried Cssclasses and it didn't work either. I don't want to cheat and use a TextBox.How can I make the checkboxes larger?
I have a label which appears full screen on a projector (VGA 2). In this label I will be sending strings. Some one liner's, some wrapped paragraphs. Some multi-line with carrage returns. My goal is to have the font dynamically change size to be as large as possible without overflowing the fixed label size.

I know my question reads a bit like that 'how much wood can a woodchuck chuck' line, excuse that... I have a repeater with checkboxes. There are numerous rows in this repeater - I never know how many - I want only one checkbox checked at any time. If the user changes the checked checkbox, any pre-existing checks are unchecked therefore maintaining a single checked checkbox.

I am trying to use a checkbox that is dynamically declared in an .vb file that I am trying to write into my .aspx page. I am able to write a normal checkbox of <input type='checkbox /> from the .vb Class using Response.write, but it comes up blank when using <asp:Checkbox runat='server' />I need to pass whether or not the box is checked back to the server, because I am having to either approve something if one is checked, reject something if the other is checked or do nothing if neither are checked.

I'm trying to use checkboxes to show and close child forms.I'm using MDI. I want to try and make the child form show inside of the parent form like it should.This is the code I was using:

And that works, but if I close the window instead of using the check box and then try to use the checkbox to open the new window again i get an error:Object reference not set to an instance of an object.Also I have more than one checkbox (each one serves a child form) and I would like to be able to open and close any of the child forms at any time.
I have a GridView with a Checkbox on the first column: Code: The thing is that the Checkbox.Checked always returns False. How can I get the checked state of the Checkboxes in this scenario? Or what would be the best approach into updating the aforementioned column? P.S. Note that click on the checkboxes doesn't post back. My requirement is compare the pre & post xml files and get the differences between xml files. Like what are all the newly added nodes, removed nodes and modified nodes as well.

I can't determine what is the trigger to this behavior. I have many forms including TableLayoutPanels, ComponentOne Sizers, some objects with DOCK=Fill, and AUTOSIZE=TRUE. On my Developement server when I am running my application, then there is one function where I am trying to put whole stringbuilder contents in a string object. This Function is used for paging the reports.For that I am using a method of Stringbuilder.tostring() and when I chek the value of this statement (stringbuilder.tostring()) it shows no such interface is supported, which later on throws exception of system is out of memory. Here i am using .net 2.0 framework and sql server 2005 database.But when I run the application on stagging server then there is no such exception thrown.[code]

I tried using a timer and just say txtbox1.width = me.size.width - 100 or whatever space for the buttons and handling it for when it reaches negative numbers (with autosize off on the textbox) but its not at all smooth.

I wrote a program to download and play AVI files the files are large in size and long time wise. I have the files playing as they are being downloaded but i can't see how long the file is or seek reliably. i was reading that the AVI headers are in the last 512kb of the AVI file *why would't they put it at the start* lol so my question is is there a way to download the last 512Kb of the file i'm downloading. i have the Bytes Read and Length of the file while its downlaoding i'm just not sure where to go from there, or how to do it atleast. If i had the length in time of the Avi file i could set the trackbar to be able to seek properly. or if someone has an idea how i could get the time of the video by using fps and some math i could prob do it that way too but idk how i would tell how i can find how many kb are in the fps i'm sure it changes so think that way is't going to be reliable. how to get the last 512kb would be the best option not sure if it can be done even.

An element in the first column should be a checkbox that is changable by the user, and an element in the second column is some un-editable text. Of course, when the user checks or unchecks a checkbox, I have to be able to handle that event and figure out which row it came from.I've been trying this all day with no luck. Do I use a ListView or a DataGridView?
