1) I want to join those tables.
2)I have 2 columns in the table for eg:- outside temp and power by selecting the outside temp i want to calculate the average of the power with similar values.
I want to calculate the average value of excel table readings 1 hr once... how do i import the sheet and how do i calculate the avg in vb.net?

I have a data table whose one column is related to a column of another table. I have a listbox in a form which shows a column (which is sorted by another column value by ORDER clause) of the parent table and other columns are in textboxes. The child table is represented by a datagrid. When I add a new item in parent table and click save, the newly created item is listed at the bottom of the listbox violating my ORDER clause. I have a project which contains a large number of lookup tables, and I have all of these lookup tables represented in a single typed DataSet, which contains TableAdapters for each lookup. I've designed an editor for these lookup tables, which should allow editing of one of these at a time. My front-end is written in VB and WinForms, the back-end is a SOAP web service; I can successfully pass the changes to the DataSet back to the web service, but can't find a way to use a TableAdapter to update the single table that has been changed.
What I'm trying to do is instantiate the appropriate TableAdapter for the updated DataTable by sending the name of the table back to the web service along with the DataSet, then referring to the TableAdapter with a dynamic name. The normal way to instantiate a TableAdapter is this:

What I'd like to do is this, but of course it doesn't work:

I have two tables Employees and CafeLogs. Some employees can be cashiers and also customers at the Cafe shop.
Table structures:
Employees: EmployeeId(PK) , FirstName, LastName
CafeLogs: LogId (PK), CashierId, EmployeeId, Value, => CashierId and EmployeeId are the data from column EmployeeId of Empoyee table
Table relationship:

The value for the first parameter @Parm_1d1 value to the crystal report version 11 is correct. However, when trying to access the second @Parm_1d2 parameter ,the values past to the crystal report is not correct.

I want to both table in form detail view most using combo box. if I used Employee detail view and Employee_Permission Datagridview than its work fine to add/edit/update but if table Employee_permission I used detailview (all Combobox) than I can not add/edit/update records. I can add only employee but can not add record in employee_pemission. I have relationship with two table EmpID in both table Primery key with auto increase in Employee table.

This is really a pre-defined table and the data is already specified to be inserted to the table. However, my primarily task is to read a flat file which has the data and consider the first line as the column to be column names.
Therefore, initially I created an open dialogue to browse for the text file and store the path such as E:Datafile est.txt, in a TextBox1 visible at run time. Now the task is to change the above "create table" to read the txt file (column names are on the first line) and then create the table in the database.
I am using a string builder to set up an html table row by row so that it can be emailed. I currently gather my information from the database using a data reader and while dataReader.read, I use stringbuilder.Append to add each cell value to the table.The issue is that after about 200 rows, the html breaks and displays a cell value above the table in the email. I have tried changing the cell padding, but this was not successful.

I think the best options to print an HTML file is the webbrowser control? but this won't give the table header at the start of each page (and I will have to contend with the ugly file://c:empfile.htm at the top of each page etc)

I am trying to add another table ontop of that table for each appointment and set the rowspan of that dynamic table to occupy the time slot of that appointment from start to finish.ll the appointments appear in the dynamic table and each dynamic table appears in the appropriate starting positions in the main table. When you are designing GUI's and put a Table within a table, you get a RowSpan and ColumnSpan option for that inner table. The problem I'm having is the dynamic tables are not giving me a RowSpan option, which I believe is because it was created using code and doesn't know that it's inside another table.Here is part of the code...
