Jan 19, 2010In my program, I have a condition I need to constantly check for. When my program gives an error, I change a label to a different text, lets say "fail" for now. I'm trying to make a condition where the program constantly checks for the label change to "fail" from the start of the program. I am having trouble trying to get this to work.

Sometimes it runs correctly and sometimes even though when i becomes greater than (dt.columns.count - 1), it still executes the for loop and throws an error that there is no column with that index. I must be missing something here but I'm not able to debug the issue.

There's some one who keeps cutting me off from time to time to increase his download speed.I know that there is some orders that can be written in the command line to reconnect to the internet after every cut but I don't know them.I started teaching myself programming under VB 2008 Express as a hobby few weeks ago. May 13, 2010I am creating a program in which there is a listview control with many items contained in it. It also has checkboxes for each of them. I am trying to get it so that when you check the checkbox next to an item, it removes the item from the list. I am using this code:

When I run this however, and check an item, it gives me this error (I am checking the first item in the listview, which would mean the index is 0): InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'index'. Parameter name: index
I've have been testing this code out for both the listview events ItemCheck and ItemChecked. How is 0 out of the index range? Wouldn't it be the first item in the listview, in which case it should remove the item.

May 9, 2011I have a MenuStrip with several items in it. All I am trying to do is select(check) only one item at a time.
Example: Lets say I have a menu title Fruits, and under the menu are several fruits.
Currently, when I click on one fruit there is a check mark, good! The problem is when I click on another fruit there is also a check mark and so on. I only need the menu to check one item at a time, this will unchecked an item if I check another menu item. I tried using if statements but doesn't even come close to working. Any ideas on this?
