Clear A Picturebox So The Picture In It Doesn't Show Up?

How do you make the image in a picturebox vanish when you change an option? I have tried a few different ways that i have seen but none have worked. I have it set so when i change an option in a listbox it will change the picture and data in other controls, however one option in the listbox has no data to fill in those controls and so gets left blank. However when i click on that option right now the images that were in the picturebox before get left behind until i click on another option that has a picture. So how do i remove the picture from the box?

When btnSetup is clicked, 7 rows with 24 colored predefined rectangles are displayed in the pbColors picture box as as intended. The controls on the first page of a tab control. I would like this display to remain intact when I change tab pages but when I return to this tab page the picture box is cleared. If I click the button, for some reason the group of colors is displayed twice, one after the other, instead of once as intended.

When i create a windows form in VB, i want to have a picture box on my form, but in design view it shows the box, but when you run the program it doesn't show it. I want it to show the box so when you run the program it will show the box and you can click on the box and you can add the photo you want on your form and then print the form or save it.

when adding picture to dynamic picturebox from my.resources in .dll a duplicate semi functional picturebox is added too, behind the picturebox i intended to add. has anyone seen this happening before or can provide any insight into this?

I have a table bound to my project, we will call the bindingsource name = MyBindingSource According to what I have read, it seems as though I should be able to simply have a line:
MyBindingSource.Clear()
and this would remove all rows, but I obviously don't understand because I get and error message that says: "Cannot clear this list."

I have several forms that are "reused," or vistited more than once per each time in the whole program. In VB6, using Form.Show() would show the form in its original state (the state is was when created in the designer). After closing this form (Unload Me), showing it again would still show the form in its original state.
I am coding in VB.NET 2008, and noticed that when I reopen a form I had closed during a session using my program, the form is in the state it was when I closed it (labels and listboxes filled with data), and not in its original state. I currently have the Form.Closing event filled with code to clear all of the controls, but I think that there must be a better way to "clear" or "reset" the form.

I have a htpc project that I am working on. The main program loads dlls which are basically other win forms. On each of these forms, including the main program, I use a picturebox (double buffered picturebox) for the background image and then draw everything on it by hand. Whenever I go from the main program to the dll, I get a weird flicker. It looks like it is the previously used double buffer. Is there any way to clear the background double buffer before the flicker?

Wasn't exactly sure how to word the title of the topic the best without making it a really long title, so I just stayed with a brief general topic to lure you guys into it .Anyways, I am using VB.NET and I have a PictureBox inside a panel that is not initially visible. Whenever a user clicks a button, I set the panel to visible, and I use Direct3D9 to render to the PictureBox but it does not work right when I set the panel to visible. I added a PictureBox_Paint function to handle the Paint event, but nothing. An interesting thing is if I sleep for about 1 or 2 seconds after I set the panel to visible and before I draw the picture with DirectX, it will draw it on. So it must be something when it is first setting it to visible that is affecting it. I do not have an actual image inside the picturebox, I am just using it to draw with DirectX.I'm not exactly sure what events are called right when you set the picturebox to visible.

I'm currently creating a system for medical record for our school project?i always get this error " Couldn't find 'C:/User/...' " i coudnt retrieve the filename of the picture so that i can store it in my database , BUT when I try my back up file it works .it save image in the Database It's the same code , i did not change anything here is a part my code..
