Check Count Of All Checkboxes In Datagridview?
Jun 4, 2011i am currently having problems with Datagridview, for example when i select the first checkbox, second checkbox onwards.
I would like to update the textbox on my form to display '2' records selected. But there is one problem i faced is that when i deselect the checkbox, it does not update. It still display '2' record selected. What event handler should i use to get it to work?

Jun 5, 2011I'm working on a program that does a bit of color-coding in a datagridview. My problem is that when a row is selected, the color-coding goes away since the normal behavior for the datagridview is to change the back-color to blue and fore-color to white. What I want it to do though is keep the fore-color that is being set through my code. I guess what I'm trying to find out is if there is an event that happens when a row is selected that I can modify to run my own color-coding. When All them are checked I want Button1 to be enabled.And if any Checkboxes get unchecked after they where checked I want button1 to be disabled.

Multiple Checkboxes With Apply Button?
Aug 31, 2009I am working on a program that has about 20 checkboxes on it.What I want to be able to do is to check the checkboxes and then hit an apply button then at that point whatever is checked/ or if something is unchecked the code for that item is run and those changes are applied. If the box is checked it disables the service if it is unchecked it enables the service.
the code I have so far is this for each service I want turned off i have placed under a button name Apply.Each service is a different registry entry and service name, some are just registry key changes.the code seemed to work at first but that is when I only had one checkbox under the button.
I know I have done something wrong with the program logic here Im just not sure how to fix it as I've only been using VB.net for 2 weeks now. I can't find any reference on the internet to having multiple checkboxes with an apply type button.

Unbound Checkboxes In DataGridView?
Jun 21, 2010I'm working on a project where I've loaded a database into a DGV. I also have an additional unbound checkbox column for the users to select entries with. I have code in place to read the selected rows and save them into a CSV string, which is then saved in the usersettings. All this works fine.
PROBLEM AREA:
I'm trying to reverse this effect so that when the DGV loads, the checkboxes that the user selected previously are checked (and the others left unchecked). I've debugged this extensively, and using watches have confirmed that all the values in the loops are right, and the conditionals are all kicking correctly, but it seems the code I'm using to actually check the boxes doesn't work. I've searched dozens of web pages, msdn white papers, and forums, but no suggestions will check the darned box. Below is some example code.[CODE...]
In debugging, it seems the value for the Cells IS changed, but the checkbox never gets selected. The try/catch was just to pick any error messages (but there are none with this code). What am I doing wrong here?
