VS 2010 Check All Yellow Checkboxes?

I have a piece of code for a program where when a specific checkbox is checkedunchecked (In this case "Allyellow") it checksunchecks any checkboxes within a group of 14 with a lightyellow backcolor. While the piece of code below does this fine it seems to me to be very clunky and I know it's possible to streamline it any number of ways.

This is my problem.I have a field set up in MS Access to Boolean YES/NO, this field is populated when the user check a checkbox on a windows form. If the user check a checkbox, the value is written as checked in the data field (MS Access).The problem is when I search for the user information, I need the information from the Data base to populate(return) to the windows form. Example: If I enter a users phone number and the user data is present, the form gets populated with the information the user previously entered which was store in the database.Example: If the user selected checkbox1 and submits the form. I have a Boolean that writes to a data field. The data field(column) is set to YES/NO, if the user check a checkbox, the value is written as check in the data field.The problem is when I search for the user information, I need to get to form to the state it was in when the user submitted it.
Example: If the use select checkbox1 and submits the form. When I search the form, I need to make that particular check box check.

I would like to load a GIF file, and start with the first pixel and check to see if that pixel color is closer to Black, Red, Green or Yellow, then take what ever color it closest matched to and output that color as a number, 0, 1, 2 or 3. i am currently having problems with Datagridview, for example when i select the first checkbox, second checkbox onwards.
I would like to update the textbox on my form to display '2' records selected. But there is one problem i faced is that when i deselect the checkbox, it does not update. It still display '2' record selected. What event handler should i use to get it to work?

I have several checkboxes in a groupbox on a vb 2008 express userform. I would like to check the checked status of each when clicking a command button and then write the checkboxes caption to be used in an email or print out. I'm doing an assignment for Uni and in my VB.NET form I have some checkboxes, I'm trying to loop through and clear them (I have a button which will clear the form). My problem is that there seems to be no property I can use to set the state of a checkbox when not explicitly telling VB which checkbox I want to use. for example, I can go

That will check the box, but I wand to DRY the code up a bit and not have to repeat this for each check box I have, this is what I was trying to do:

I have a group box which contains 40 checkboxes, when a checkbox is selected its content is added to a list and removed if already checked. Now I could write 40 functions one for each event (lots of code) each containing a add to the list function and a remove on uncheck, or I could use multiple handles (confusing multiple line declaration) is there another way? say my list of chkboxes had 100 checkboxes or more? can I for example use the container in some way?

I am attempting to complete an assignment for my Intro VB class and it is giving me a good bit of grief.
The assignment calls for at least 8 checkboxes with corresponding labels and one more label displaying the total amount due. I know that I am supposed to declare a form wide variable and then add/subtract from the variable within the even for the checkbox being checked.
I get the appropriate amounts to show in the corresponding labels but they wont add in the total due label.

I have a problem setting the checked state of checkboxes in a listview programmatically.
Background: I have a Windows Form Application which uses CheckedListBox�s. The names/labels for each CheckBox in the list are imported for a database. Also in the database is a field which defines whether the CheckBox should be Checked or Unchecked. The program works fine.
Problem: My requirement is to add a tooltip to each item in the list of checkboxes. I have read that the best/easiest way to do this is to use a ListView instead of the CheckedListBox. I have setup a ListView with CheckBoxes = True and View = Details. I have populated the ListView with the items from my database. The ListView now looks exactly like the CheckedListBox and the tooltips work fine.
My problem is that I can�t seem to find a way of setting the CheckBox�s to Checked programmatically. Is there a way to do this, or is there a better way of achieving what I am trying to do?

in the painteventargs of the form, i've got something like this: [Code] i'm getting a very cool gradient effect from red to yellow, but why is that the case? shouldn't the 1x1 portion be totally red? and the remaining pixels be totally yellow?
i'm not trying to paint a 1x1 portion in my form, im trying to know why e.Graphics.DrawImage(bm, 0, 0, 100, 100) doesn't draw a 1x1 red portion on my form through the code provided above. my understanding is that 0,0 specifies the point to draw the image. bm specifies the image actually drawn, which is 1x1 px. and 100,100 specifies the allowed space for the graphics to draw, if this is correct, the first pixel should be red and the remaining 9999 pixels should be yellow but they aren't.
