Concentrate Rows From Ms Access Using 2008 Express?

concantenate rows from my ms access database using vb.net. I have a table in ms access where there are contacts of clients, so now i want to seleect only mobile numbers of all clients and then concantenate them seperated by deliminated commas. give me all the mobile numbers into a single row/line seperated each number with a deliminated comma. I have tried different methode but it gives my endless errors. Amongst other things i tried to bind the mobile numbers in to a listbox so that i can loop through and insert all the number in the textbox seperating them with a deliminated commas....that does not work it says "Operator '+' is not defined for type 'DataRowView' and string ";".

I'm creating an application and I want to pass on a string value from one form to the other.Is there an access modifier in VB 2008 EE that would allow me to do that?Example: I have a name such as Mike in one form, in a list box, and Mike has a file attached to it with different information.I then click on a button to load another form, where the name Mike will be passed on and will be used by my program to find the file and display all the information in the file of his name.

I am trying to store data to access by VB 2008 express. basically, I have 13 check boxes to let the users to choose. when they finish checking the boxes, they will click the button "submit" to submit it. VB will store this as a new row in the database.

I have the code listed above as a translation from a Java snippet. The problem i have is that in Java, my table was stored as a dataset and as such, the methods were easily identifiable by "getRow" and getCell" using specific numbers and column names. However in VB the information is stored in an MS Access database (which i already have an open connection to, called: "_SalesPerformance_AnalyticsToolDatabaseDataSet12") and as such i do not know the correct way in which to iterate through each row in the database, checking a specific column against an already specified variable and then returning an integer based upon the value of a seperate column in the same row.

I am using this code to Add rows to a SQL database, and it adds the row to the SQL database if column 7 is not null. After it adds the row to the SQL database, it deletes it from the Access Dataset, and updates the Access Database. Sometimes double rows seem to get inserted into the database, so I'm thinking there is an error in my logic somewhere here.

Microsoft Access 2007 A Students.mdb database file Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition. I was informed that one can connect to Access files with ease from the Express Edition and most of the tutorials on the internet also show this however I am encountering a problem.
I open Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition Start a new project, with a form, and then click on the Data window, and add new data sources from the Data menu.
I click on database. The problem starts with the data connection. I click New Connection Change the Data Source from Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 to Microsoft Access Database File and instead of then leading back to the other window (as happens on the tutorials for me to browse for the mdb file). Another window pops up asking me to Add a Connection.
It has the data source listed as Access and asks for a Connection String under the misc section. I type in

When I click on Ok I get this error: Format of the initialization string does not conform to specification starting at index 0.
The Test connection button works and says connection success whether the Connection String field is empty or not but when I click OK it still gives me the same error. So I can't leave it blank either
So basically I can't connect to the Access database since I can't change the connection type and it won't just let me browse and add the file anyway.

I have an access table that I'm loading into a dataset, then I'm binding the dataset to a bindingsource. The bindingsource is the datasource for a datagridview. I can use a command builder to update the entire table, but I need to update all the rows (or changed rows) in specific columns. I have a column called "dPrint" which is Boolean. My intention is to load my data from access database through datagridview but it keeps telling me the same error. This is the exact error message I've gotten.. it threw an oledb Exception stating: Could not open table 'MSysAccounts' in the workgroup information file. I've been browsing and viewing different resources but I still do not find a solution to view my data in datagridview. Few things I've tried:
1. I originally uses Ms Access 2007 to load, but it does not seem to work well, hence i converted it into Ms Access 2003 format. Same error displayed.

I'm using Visual Basic Express 2008 to create an interface with a order database in MS Access 2007 (.accdb file). Everything is fully functional except updating the "Inventory" table is very slow. Updating around 2200 items takes almost 2 minutes and the window will appear as "not responding" for the duration if you click away and come back. Here is the process:1. Tab-delimited text file is picked by user, which includes all inventory items (not just new ones)2. Each line from text is parsed and read into variables (tempSKU, tempItemTitle, etc.)3. Old items are updated and new ones are added. -> This is the bottleneck
I used to have a series of IF statements to check which elements were changed and report them, but that was about 2x as slow. The new code is a little faster but doesn't provide the feedback I liked (update part is commented around):

I have a database, added in data sources. I can manage records with automatically generated database toolbar.I want buttons for Add, Replace, Erase data from Database. So far i've seen some Tutorials but they are most likely for VB6 and also i'm really new on VB at all.
So i've uploaded all my project folder and my access database for you to rewiev it.Also excuse me for my englsih. It's not my native language. And again i'm new on VB, so i can ask dumm questions about basic. I can use some qualty VB 2008 tutorials links too.

I want to create a table (called "Customers") in a Microsoft Access database and then insert/delete records into the table and update the table. The table shall have 3 columns:

Customer Name
Customer Address
I know i need to make the "ID" column as an autonumber and a primary key, as i need to insert and delete records and update the table. I am using the Visual basic 2008 Express edition and quite familar with the OledBcommand.

I would like to access to a SQL Server Database from my Visual Studio project.
I have SQL Server 2005 Express Edition installed on my PC and I have a database with some tables.
In Visual Studio, I open the Database Explorer and I try to create a database connection.
The Add connection dialog box proposes to enter a database *file name* but I cannot select a database *server* and a database *name*.
Perhaps, is it a restriction because it is a free version ?
Within Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition, I can select a database *server* and a database *name* !

When I iterate the media items in a Windows Media Player playlist and set the properties of a user-defined class to the attributes of a media item, the first n rows of the playlist are populated with useful information; however, the remaining rows are empty. If I perform the same operation but access the media items directly (e.g., display the attributes to the console window) then all items in the playlist are populated properly.
Here is an example of the output showing the condition:

How would i delete only the successful inserted rows for insert and then move the non successful rows up and allow the user to correct the data and get it ready for an insert. If i dont delete the successful rows then i will have multiple inserts of the same dataRow and we dont want that! AND if i dont move the data up then it will have blank rows uptop and will end the try and not insert the corrected data. You can better see what logic i am trying to perform at the bottom of my code, right after I insert into the database. Here is my code.

But I cant keep the event displayed on my calendar when I close it and open it again.

I'm just using the default SQL Server Express in my vb 2008 express edition as my database server for my database operation. When I tried to update the records on my table I got a runtime error which indicates the error on this line 'myCommand.ExecuteNonQuery()'and it highlights a yellow background on it. The runtime error says "SqlException was unhandled: An expression of non-boolean type specified in a context where a condition is expected, near 'Number'. ".
