Array.Sort(linedistancearray)However what I get is the first item being a 0 not the smallest integer value in the array I need. HOWEVER if I choose the index 1 it works.So what I was thinking was a way to remove all 0s in the array. I've got a databound query in my application which is querying the "Customers" table in our database.I've created this directly from the ComboBox's datasource creator in the Design view.Various bits of code created in the designer include:

What I've done in the first stage of developing this feature is to show my users a ComboBox showing a specific subset of the customer list by applying a filter to the BindingSource.

What I want to do on a second pass is to allow the users to type a specific bit of information into a textbox and check whether it appears in Me.CustomerDataSet like so:

I retired recently from a job where we had VS2010 Professional for doing ourdevelopment. Now that I'm retired I can't afford "Pro" and cannot find the component than looks like this (see above). Is/was that component left out of the "Express" version? Do I have to "load" it (and, if so, what name should I look for)? The code goes:

Here I'd like to remove all items from listItems, that are abc, no matter what case single characters of item are, including mixed case items. So in this example, every items should be removed

If I change pattern to match the case of item, then item #2 gets removed:
pattern = "abc"
listItems.Remove(listItems.Find(Function(r) r = pattern))
How can I find item in listItems, ignoring the case characters in pattern?

Then skips straight to the Else without performing the two lines in between, regardless of whether the item was checked or not checked. It doesn't crash, doesn't throw any errors, so I am assuming I coded this wrong somehow.
I have a list box on the form which functions as a copy/paste. When you copy something, it is automatically added to the list box as a "clipboard helper". Here is the problem,however: if the text is more than 1 line, the list box does not show all the text.It ends up looking messy.So getting back to my question, is it possible to make the list box item height for an item depending on the amount of lines that item contains?This is a one line sentence in the list box and should take up one line.This is a multi line sentence in the list box and should take up two lines for item height.

I am messing around with the WMPLib component provided by Windows Media Player 12 (wmp.dll) in VB.NET with .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.
I am trying to retrieve a media item from my media library based on its name (assuming there are no duplicate names). At the moment, I'm grabbing the entire media library, and looping through every media item, and quitting the loop when I've found the correct media item. This works well (except for when a media item with that name cannot be found), but I was hoping there was a more efficient way of doing this.
