i am trying to bind a dropDownList control to a select query that has a parameter.the query itself runs fine on sqlserver database when the paramter is replaced with an actual datetime variable.the basic query is: SELECT DISTINCT DeliveryZone FROM dbo.tblComplaints WHERE (DeliveryZone IS NOT NULL)AND (DeliveryZone NOT IN ('**', '??', 'EE', 'T', 'M'))[code]

I used the select disctinct statement with 2 fields from my sql database table. Here is my code.

myAdapter = New SqlDataAdapter(myCommand)
myAdapter.Fill(myDataSet, "tblBook")

and it generates error : cannot bind to the new member. Parameter name:value.

I'm getting the error: The parameterized query(@CustomerID, @ProductCode, @DateOpened) expects the parameter @ProductCode, which was not supplied.For one thing, my INSERT query has five parameters, not just the three listed in the error notice.
Another thing, I supplied @ProductCode in the AddWithValue statement.
Another thing is that I don't get the error when I change:

I am connecting to an Access database and using a parameter query with the LIKE operator to return all rows that match query. The string to search for is taken from a Textbox

I am trying to run a query an Access db from VB. The general query which I want to run is
