Get Index Number User Clicks On A Control In A Collection?

I'm using an open source ribbon control that does not have click events for controls such as tabs, panels, etc.When I looked at the properties of the ribbon it does have the tabs, panels, etc. all in collections.I would like to change this (0) code so that I can get the index number of the control that the user clicks on. The tabs on this control are not like the regular tabs that come with Visual Studio. "Tabs" is a collection of Ribbon1.

1.When the user clicks the button the info from the controls on the left appears in the label on the right.
2.How to retrieve the selected dates from the calendar control when the user clicks the button?

I have an asp.net usercontrol which represents a "popup" dialog. Basically, it's a wrapper for the jQuery UI dialog which can be subclassed to easily make dialogs. As part of this control, I need to inject a div into the page the control is used on, either at the very top or very bottom of the form so that when the popup is instantiated, it's parent is changed to this div. This allows "nested" popups without the child popup being trapped inside the parent popup.
The trouble is, I can't find a safe way to inject this div into the page. A usercontrol doesn't have a preinit event, so I can't do it there, and calling Page.Form.Controls.Add(...) in Init, Load or PreRender causes the standard exception "The control collection cannot be modified during DataBind, Init, Load, PreRender or Unload phases."
I thought I had found a solution by using. ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptBlock(Page, Me.GetType, UniqueID + "_Dialog_Div", containerDiv, False) which seemed to work well normally, but recently a coworker tried putting an UpdatePanel inside the dialog and now she's getting the error "The script tag registered for type 'ASP.controls_order_viewzips_ascx' and key 'ctl00$ContentBody$OViewZips_Dialog_Div' has invalid characters outside of the script tags: . Only properly formatted script tags can be registered."
How are you supposed to add controls to the pages control collection from inside a user control?

I have been working on recoding a VB6 client/server application of mine and have run into a bit of an issue with storing the players location on the tile map which means I will need to rework the way I am storing the user connections. In my VB6 application I would store the user's numeric index/socket number/whatever you'd like to call it as the Key, however, in VB 2008 I can't seem to find where, or if, the numeric index is stored. If this isn't possible then does anyone have an example of how they store user connections using some numeric index as the key of a hashtable?

I have a datagridview, with 3 columns, each containing dropdown filters (in the column header). Of the 3 columns, 2 are working perfectly fine, but whenever I try to filter the 3rd column, it gives me this error: (Also all of the column's have the ColumnType property set to: DataGridViewAutoFilterTextBoxColumn) "Index was out of range. This is a related to my last post, but not enough to make sense as a tag on question.I have a collection(of myClass) that is exposed as a public property in a user control.When I add an item to the collection in code I would make the call collection.add(new myClass) and of course the constructor for myClass is called.When I add items to the collection via the design time menu the constructor for myClass is not called.... of it it is called, I can't see any evidence of it.

I've been working with a CMS called InsiteCreations 2008. I'm running into an error I just can't wrap my head around. I would even be willing to compensate anyone a small amount over paypal, for a solution. The error is rare in occurance, and appears when clicking about 3-4% of links to other pages within our CMS.The full code page is quite large, but there seems to be only one function associated with the error. The error also only appears when not logged into the CMS. If logged into the CMS, clicking the link simply displays the page as normal. I have already checked permissions on the page from the CMS admin console, and it is public.
The error message is as follows:
Server Error in '/' Application.Collection index must be in the range 1 to the size of the collection.

I have a user control that is created within a tab control every time a user creates a new tab, so each tab on a tab control contains a new instance of the user control. From within the user control I would like to get the parent tab's index, so that I can dynamically alter properties of the tab, such as the tab's title.

I have a UserControl class in a Windows Application project. One of the properties of it is a collection of another class that I have defined. I can't seem to find a good example of how to get the standard collection editor working for it at design time.I got it working using some example code I found to a degree, but the data in my collection doesn't get saved. When I exit the form and open it back up in design time the data isn't there any more.Here is my class:

I am creating a User Control where I have a property called Items. Items is of type LibraryPanelBarItem Collection (custom class) which contains a collection of LibraryPanelBarItem objects. I would like to be able to add these at design time by using the Collection editor that VS uses for adding things such as treenodes/listviewitems. Ideally I would also be able to declaratively add them to the html syntax. I can get the Items property to show up but I get no intellisense to add the items between the opening and closing tags. Trying to input a high setpoint, low setpoint, a % load, and number of compressors, then calculate the temp that all compressors are off. In a list of timers, how do I determine the index of the item that elapsed without having to iterate the collection as shown below (e.g. can I pass a paramater to OnTimedEvent, or can the collection raise an event to say which item fired???). It's the individual timer index that I need as I'm using it to refer to something else.
(I wont know how many items I'll have in the list in advance so I can't create an individual event handler for each timer - I don't think I should even if I did).

I'm wondering, what happens when you do following:
Collection.Insert(55, "Input")
The collection contains 20 items, so 19 would be the last index. This doesn't work, I get the expected outofrangeException. But when I do :
Collection.Insert(20, "Input")
That works without a problem, even though it is 1 out of the collection.
