Jul 21, 2010I am unable to read a pasted datagridviewrow object from the clipboard. All I want to do is, when a user has the entire row selected and copied, I would paste that row into the clipboard as a DataObject. That works just fine but when I attempt to read that DataObject (after the user clicks Paste) the DataGridViewRow that's saved in the clipboard always has a value of Nothing. Jun 9, 2011The program is currently trying to pull information from three different database tables and compiling the information onto one screen, to do this i am using three different connections and a function to handle the data at each stage. The issue is as my code hits PageLoadStage of "2" and runs the QueryDatabase() Function i am encountering an error of: "OleDB exception unhandled: No value given for one or more of the required parameters." This occurs on line 15 of the first code snippet. Can anyone explain this and/or identify any code issues if that is the cause.

May 24, 2012I have a text box where i am entering numbers of double datatype andon the Keytdown event of the textbox some checks take pace and in certain circumstances I want to be able to stop the user from entering other information until they enter the right information in the textbox (where it says right here) . now when I say exit sub the textbox somehow loses focus . but this is not how I want it to be I want the textbox to remain with the focus so the user can change the information . How can i go about this. And the other thing is why is my txtDestPayRate1.Focus() just befor the exit sub not working?

I'm trying to make a very simple automated program that will run two stored procedures (one that updates, one that displays the new results) and then copies the results to the clipboard and pastes it in a new e-mail. I already have the e-mail generating and grabbing whatever is on the clipboard, but I need help with the store procedures.
Every guide I look at on Google seems to show a slightly different way of working with SQL, but I threw this together and need to know if it's working. I don't get any errors and the program "hangs" about as long as it takes for the actualy SP to run, but how do I get the "rows affect" output into a textbox or something?[code]...
