I have a homework assignment due for Rainfall Statistic and I started the program by dimming the month name and integer. I know how to get the program to input the number of rainfall for each month, but I dont know where to go from there. I'm new with this IT class and i'm just confused on how to do Arrays.

The app. returns total rainfall for the year, average rainfall, maximum rainfall and minimum rainfall.The max. and min. should return the number that was input by the user and the month associated with that max. and min.I have everything working except for the month string being displayed (returned) after the max., min. number in the labels.
I am trying to write a code using VB 2008 (console) thats ask's the user to enetr the rainfall for the month. At the end of the year it will give him the average, total, highest, and lowest rainfall for the year. I have wrote the code for total and average but I have no idea where to start for higest and lowest month. I want it to display the month (July) and the measurement (6.3) for the higest and lowest month. This is what I have so far.

What the program does is set a random number in memory then a guessing box input tells if it is too high or too low or correct. I set it up so the min and max numbers can be changed. The Problem that i am having right now is "Displaying " the overtime hours on my "FORM VIEW" i mean i did the math right its just when i type (lblOverHrs.Text = CDec(CDec(OvrHrsWrkWeek1.Text) + CDec(txtOvrHrsWrkWeek2.Text))
Its says the "OvrHrsWrkWeek1 and 2" are not Declared which are..im not really sure where i went wrong..

I have an existing database that I want to add a number to that the user inputs. So lets say that in the database there is 4 carrots, and the user on the addinventoryform inputs 3 carrots and pushes a button. Now I want that number to be added to the database number so in the database there would now be seven carrots. I am using an oledb connection and cannot figure this out.

I have my variables set up as dateTime to store the current date and time, when calling System.dateTime.now.toString() i get 11/08/2010 Time, however when casting to Date as in CDATE() i get 08/11/2010 time. How can i stop this?
