Have The "title" Or Text Of The Form Itself Change With The Contents Of The Dataset?

My form holds a group of textbox's that get data from a dataset, it also has a navigator on it to nav the records.I'm trying to have the "title" or text of the form itself change with the contents of the dataset, I can make it change using the nav button events, but I have to put code into every single event (bindingnavigatorMoveFirst_click, movenext.... etc) and the title does not show when the form first loads that way.

I'm trying to get my Applications title bar to change the text once the user loads up a file. So far I have gotten it so it will load up the File name into the title bar, but I would like it to show MicroText - OpenFileName... OpenFileName being the name of the file that was opened.

1. How do I force the Form to change its title through code? I tried: Me.Name = "New Title" during a button press, but that didn't work.
2. How do I make it so a form cannot be resized by the user at all? ie. they can't drag the sides.
3. I have made it to when I save in my application the status bar displays "Save Successful". How would I make it stay with that text a few seconds before displaying "Running..." instead?

I am here with the same Query but with a different look I want to apply the culture change to my program. I created a class library for culture change. and applied it . The main form in my application is a small form without a titlebar. I accomplished this by setting these properties:
- ControlBox = False
- MinimizeBox = False
- MaximizeBox = False
- Text = "" (empty)
As long as the Text (title text) remains empty, the form has no title bar. Note that it still has a border so it can be resized (FormBorderStyle = Sizable, as usual, not None!)Now, because I have to keep the Text property empty, the taskbar button never shows any text... But I want to show text in the taskbar button!
As far as I know, the only way to set the text on the taskbar button is using the forms Text property, but I cannot set that because the form will have a titlebar if I do...

I have a class that contains one function: "ShowDialog()" It creates a new openfiledialog and sets its title, but when it is run, the title of the openfiledialog is set to the current directory that is shown in the dialog. I would not like this behavior. Here is the code:

I have MyReader spit the contents of a delimited file into a text box on my form. I wanted to have the program find how many times a certain string was repeated based on a comparison between the currentfield string and my encoded search string. I thought that I could use a counter for this, but I think I may be using incorrect syntax. When the program runs, the counter doesn't increment.

I am having very odd behaviour from my compiler when i run my program, i have two practically identical snippets of code that are doing pretty much the same thing: both are populating nodes on a treeview using information from the treenode above but when the program runs one of the snippets tells me at runtime that something i have defined is nothing. [code] section and title are columns in a dataset defined by dtName that exists, and the where bit is refering to a column where the entries match the value assigned to volume. which is 1 in the first iteration.

I have a background image of a green chalkboard and on this board I display my controls that the user interacts with. I have a groupbox that is used with a set of 4 radio buttons, and the group box has text at the top left corner that says "Pick the Generic Name".
This text is in Blue, and is a little difficult to see against the green chalkboard background.
Is there a way to change the color of this text?

I cant seem to find any link or topic regarding my problem. I have 2 forms in a project, form one has labels and adjacent combobox while the other form (form 2)has textboxes with adjacent combobox. I am supposed to change the text property of the labels using textbox entry from form 2 and add/delete/change combobox contents in fom 1 using entries combobox at form 2.

I am having trouble getting the Student Name entered in the Student Name Form to change the Text titles of the GroupBox's on the Main Form and Schedule Form. I understand the logic of what needs to be done to some extent, but I am having trouble coming up with the correct coding.
Below is a snippet of the Student Name Form code that I tried most recently just to see if I could get any change to happen to the other 2 Forms when the Accept Name button was clicked. As of yet, I cannot get a change to happen at all in the groupboxes of the other Forms.[code...]
