How To Display A Bitmap On Form, And Then Remove It At Times, And Put It Back Again

I want to display a bitmap on my form, and then remove it at times, and put it back again.
I have the Bitmap in my resources folder.in my form properties, it is selected as background image.
somewhere in my code I set the background image to = nothing (that makes it disappear) but every time I try to bring it back, I get file not found.I got it to display when I hard-coded the entire path and filename.[code..]
Obviously, when I publish and distribute to clients, the file won't be there.[code...]

The following loop starts in x then loops thru y 20 times then goes back and finishes x. how do I get it to loop thru x then complete loop y then loop x once more then loop y completely again 20 times then back to x and another 20 ys. there should be 200 loops today.

I am creating a program which really relies on arrays to work.Everything is working well except for trying to remove an array index. I need to remove filearray(0) index at certain times and have not found an appropriate way to do this. There might be more elements after (0) but there also might not be. I can't seem to come up with the code that can remove index (0) as if the rest of the array is blank I'm not sure if I can redim from lbound(+1) to ubound())

When I type a file with out a path it mean he is in: BIN/DEBUG folder. When I run this program I get a big red 'X' allover here..

i have the code below to ping an ip address, it works fine but Is there anyway i can include the reply times in the display or return the ping reply times in any shape or form for that matter ? preferable the average round trip time in ms is what i would like returned along with the ping result. anyone have any ideas or is it even possible to do within vb ?

I have to display the available times in a dropdownlist called "DDL_avalTime" based on the date selected in a ASP calendar.
How the program works is that when a User clicks a date form the caldendar, it checks the SQL database. In this case the table that I'm retrieving it from is "trainerbookings" from the column "trainingDateTime". The data type for this column is datetime.[code]...

I have set up text boxes for user to pick a number 1-20 and to enter a word as well. Then, press submit button. What's supposed to display in result textbox is the word that many number of times. For example if the number is 5 and the word is hello, then "hellohellohellohellohello" should appear. I don't know how to complete my For...Next function to append the word to the result.

I know how to copy a bitmap to a picturebox.image but how do I copy the bitmap to the form?
Example:
I want to create a form 1600x1200 and put a 1600x1200 image on the form to cover the entire surface.
Then I want to put several pictureboxes 256x40 (Tool Bars) at different locations on the form.
If pictureboxA is at x32, y32 on the form, I want to copy from the form at x32, y32 256x40 to the picturebox.image then draw
the buttons on the pictureboxA.
I know how to load a .jpg or .bmp to the form from a file. This won't work for my purpose.
If there is no fix for this then the only thing I could do would be to create the bitmap then save it to a file, then reload the file to the form. I want to avoid this... It takes up time :(

I have VB2008 Express.I have a main form. From the main form you are eventually lead to form 2.
Main Form - Form 1 - Form 2 - Form 3 I want to monitor how many times someone gets to Form 2. How many times Form 2 is opened but then closed without proceeding to Form 3. I do have an "exit" button on form 2, that will go back to Form 1.

Using a blank form I draw simple colored shapes to the form(x800 - y600 @ x0 - y0).
I'm using a picturebox(x800 - y600 @ x0 - y0), how do I copy whats on the form to the picturebox?
I want a mirror image copy.

i have two forms : Form1 and Form2..when i start application form 1 opens up, the memory usage is 10MB then i open form 2 and close form 1, the memory usage is 25MB.Again i close form2 and open form1, then the memory usage is 30MB.Why is this so that form 1 has different memory usage at different times...?
