Html Source Code Doesn't Show Html But In Firebug Inspect Element Html Is There?
Jan 10, 2012This may sound really stupid but I have to ask cause I'm not finding this answer anywhere.I have an application where the user will need to sign up for a new user account on the website [URL]..However when I am using Firefox's plug-in Firebug to view html I am getting something totally different than when I just right click on the site and view the page source.
What I am trying to do is to get the captcha from the website and display it in a picturebox on the application so the user can view the captcha, solve the captcha and then the app post is back to the service for a response.
Here is the source that I am getting using Firefox's Firebug to inspect the element:

Why would the two be showing me two different versions of the HTML?
And how would you be able to grab that source to view in a picturebox using webclient?

Apr 3, 2012I'm trying to figure out why the following VB.Net code seems unable to upload a file to my ISP's FTP server, since it doesn't report any error but I'm not getting the notification e-mail I'm supposed to receive once a file has been uploaded.So I launched the free Fiddler proxy on 127.0.0.1:7777, but it doesn't report any activity, even with its "Capture FTP Requests" option checked:[code]Is there a way to watch the FTP session to understand why the file seems to be uploaded successfully but I'm getting no success notification?

AIQ is a VB.Net app deployed via ClickOnce. It is an intranet app; one can be sure MS Office 2003 and the interop 11 dlls are on the target machines.
Restrictions: MAPI is out. It mangles the HTML. Since it is a ClickOnce deployment, we can't register dlls (I think, correct me if I am wrong). Therefore CDO and COM is out (again, I may be wrong.... I would be happy to be proven so).

However suddenly around the 29th September 2010 it has stopped sending E-Mails from both Web Services and Windows Applications. I have the page source in a variable (pageSourceCode), and need to work out some regex to get the value (3 in this example). I have this so far: [Code] Which works fine most of the time, however this code is used to process source code from multiple sites (that use the same platform), and sometimes there are other attributes included in the input tag, or they are in a different order, eg:

I just dont understand regex enough to cope with these situations.

May 6, 2009I have to submit a HTML form to a 3rd party website and one of the hidden fields is an XML string. The XML needs escaping before it is sent to the 3rd party.
However when I add the plain XML to the form field it semi-escapes it for me. So then when I use HTMLEncode myself part of the XML is double-escaped. How do I prevent the automatic escaping that appears to becoming from .NET.
Or even better how else can send the escaped XML via the hidden field.

I am able to upload a file however, I need to be able to capture each output response from the mainframe for logging purposes.
