i have a treeview which has a bunch of parent and child nodes preset at design time, there is 1 parent node tho which is called developer, that i want to add child nodes to at runtime.When the form first loads im trying to have it check a text file and for each line in the text file add the text/string from that as a child node tot he 'developer' parent node.

I have a tree view in my project with a parent node and with theoretically speaking infinite child nodes.

I was wondering how I would go about placing a check in the checkboxes for each child node of a parent node in a TreeView control, if I was to check the parent node.
For example:

[Code] my problem is if i search the class node with the name attribute of value "IT MAJEL 03", the xml reader reads through the first class which is "IT MAJEL 04" and read all of its child nodes(which i think is very awkward. why continue reading to its child nodes if the class name you're looking does not even match). is there another way to actually jump the reader of the xml node to the next xml node of the same level?
I mean if I search the class named "IT MAJEL 03", the reader should jump to the next same level element it does not match the query. It should skip reading the "IT Majel 04" child nodes. what I want to achieve here is I want to save nanoseconds of computing.
I've created managed code to programmatically provision websites on Windows 2008 servers from a Vista 64-bit workstation.The provisioning covers creating DNS entries, creating a file structure and a the IIS7 site (using Microsoft.Web.Administration aka MWA).I've had to do some DCOM configuration to get it to work through a firewall and it all works on the test server provided I'm in the same domain.I then cloned the Windows Server 2008 Virtual Machine (VM) that the provisioning does work on and then changed the clone's domain to the child domain in the forest where the production servers are sitting.The provisioning user credentials are synchronised on the parent and child domains.So the only change is moving domains and there is an automatically configured trust relationship between the domains.
Provisioning the file system still works on the server on the child domain, but managing DNS and IIS7 now have access issues.I've tried impersonating the Administrator on the child domain (and the thread identity is showing that works) and also had a go with CoInitializeSecurity (though I'm not sure that is appropriate for Win2008 and Vista)to no avail.What I really want to avoid is the need to have to store credentials separately on the workstation - it brings an unwelcome maintenance overhead and the possibility that if the provisioning user's password is changed, then the provisioning will unexpectedly fail on the production servers.Ideally once the provisioning user has logged onto the Vista Workstation, I'd like their credentials to pass through to the servers on the child domains (there are separate DNS and web servers) allowing them to manipulate whatever services (DNS, IIS7, file system) that are necessary.The solutions would seem to be something programmatic (whatever replaced CoInitializeSecurity?) or a Group Policy setting on the child domain may need altering to allow access.However being a humble software developer working out which of the myriad settings (one of the User Rights Assignments perhaps?) is outside my sphere of knowledge.The third alternative is to use Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) but I haven't done much with this yet and what I have indicates that this technology has its own security issues to accommodate.
I have a TreeView control in VS 2010 that I need to be able to INSERT (not add) nodes to. I have stored a unique key in the TAG for each node and know how to find the value of the tag in the tree. However, I can't figure out how to INSERT a NEW node BEFORE or AFTER the node I have found with this tag.
For example, suppose I have the following tree . . .

I need to be able to do this for any particlular level of the tree (not just the third level where Item 6 is located). Also, Item 6 could have CHILD NODES associated with it but I need to leave those child nodes assoicated with Item 6 and INSERT Item 6.1 below (or above) Item 6 at the same level as Item 6.
why my program hangs up on the following line? I am inserting a node into a treeview.

I get no error, no exception, it just sits there running for ever.

I'm trying to dynamically add results to this display and I simply want to put a break tag after a label to start putting information on the next line. For some reason, Using a literal isn't working for me. Is there a better way to do this or should I just use tables?

It's not working as in the line break isn't showing up on the webpage. It's compiling fine and there is nothing wrong with the code. It just doesn't show up in the html for some odd reason.

I am working on Treeview control and Gridview Control VB.NET08. In the Treeview i have Parent and Child Nodes. Like: [Code] Comparing the Parent Node text and first two digits in the Column values. I want to add rows inbetween the gridview rows based on the parent and Child Nodes. If i expand the First Parent Node Called "31" then according to the Number of Child Nodes (for first parent node(31) there are 5 child nodes.) add rows in the gridview.
These New rows should be add under the 31-xxxx. If i expand the 32 Parent Node based on number of Child Nodes, add rows under the 32-xxxx. [Code] I am getting the rows in the end of the Gridrow not in the Specific row.
