I'm trying to loop over record set with While sqlResults.Read() But it seems that if i only have one record in the collection it will skip it and won't enter the loop, is there some kind of fix to this?

I am trying to loop through a dataset and process n numbers of records at a time.For example lets say I have around 240 records in my dataset. I need to loop through the dataset and then create a new batch of 50 records. so for the dataset which has 240 records I want to create 6 batches. Out of these 6 batches, 5 would have 50 records and and last batch would have 40 records.

With the code below after the user types in a value beside an int value type then it will go into an Loop through more than what is needed. How can I apply the same logic but allow the program not to check the 60 rows (I set the row size to 60). I want to break out of it if there are blanks ONLY if a row is blank and not for a black cell, because if the user leaves one cell blank then it would loop through the 'for each' for how many rows that they is. I have created an auto emailer to distribute our work routes for my colleagues. Problem is I made it easy for the management team to update the list. List is ordered by Tech Number, First name, Last name, Email address.
I have coded this in VB.NET 2008 using Database sources and drag-n-drop the table on the form. I let VB do most of the coding of the connection and text boxes. I have a form which uses a table adapter to read a table:Me.TblOrdersTableAdapter.Fill(Me.WorkDataSet.tblOrders)I want to change it so it only reads 1 specific record (variable at run time). This is for an Access database. To do that I could add a filter to the Fill query or make another query with a filter but I don't know the code to reference a field on a form. Can anyone supply the correct way to reference a field in a table adapter query, if it is possible, or direct me to a better way?

But that makes the SQL query crash. It doesnt seem as though i am about to put anything related to "count" in my query or it will crash so is there any other way i can see how many records it returns other than that?

Now with the new Structure we cant dimension an array in the Structure And wjhen declaring strings we can't specify the length.
I tried to create structire and use a stream binary reader. and just read afixed number of bytes into the type, The program says it canvert bytes to my fiels.
So how do I do this. Or has Microsoft in their infinite wisdom left no way to do this.
I currently have a function that loads an XML and takes all of the nodes and makes an object with them and adds them to an array.I need to be able to now see if there are more than one xml doc in a folder, and if so also add their objects to the array until all of them have been read. How would I go about doing this? I've been searching through the System.IO. to see if I could find something but I haven't been able to yet.
