Make A Program For Math Where Enter A Number Into A Box?

So I wanted to make a program for math where you enter a number into a box. Then you click enter. The program has numbers 1-12 next to a check box. If you click enter it divides your number by the numbers 1-12. Let's say you put 100 in that box. Then you clicked enter. The check box next to ten would be checked, 4, 2, and 5 would all be checked because those numbers evenly go into 100. How can I have the vb check to see if the sum is a whole number?

I am writing a program that has 2 text boxes & 1 button in it.The first text box is to enter a number then hit the calculate button and it outputs to the 2nd text box after doing a math problem.I then need it to round to 2 decimal spots.I used to use Visual Basic 6 but don't have access to that any longer.So now I'm using Visual Basic 2008.Here is my code, but the math.round isn't working.[code].....

I have two text boxes on my form. text box 1 allows a user to type in a number (decimal) and text box 2 will display the smallest number typed in so far. The idea is to find the smallest number typed in by the user in text box 1, by using the Math.min method to compare each number typed in by the user to a variable that contains the smallest number to the point. Then replace the variable value with the smaller of the two numbers. To make it work for the first number. I have to initialize the variable to 99999. (no if else statements should be used).

I am supposed to create a program in my VB.net class to do the following:
1. Prompt the user to enter the beginning number and the ending number.
2. Find the sum of the even numbers between these two values, inclusive.

We are currently using for next statements in the class. I know how to prompt for and utilize the numbers that are input etc. My problem is the EVEN numbers part. I obviously have to determine if the number is even and then use a step value of 2 from there. But not sure how to determine if number is even or odd (guessing to use mod, but totally lost).

well i am having a couple of issues with this particular homework problem and this is my first programming class so there is probably quite a few mistakes well the homework problem is to take three double values entered by a user and display the largest and smallest using math.max and math.min and display the smallest and largest so i thought i could use a listbox and take the values that went to the listbox and assign variables to each so i can try to use each variable in the math.max and min but im not making it to far and i actually might be way off

I am creating a program for which will calculate the time taken for a user to make a number keystrokes. I want to start the timer running from the beginning of the first key stroke and end on the final keystroke. Each keystroke has been linked to a label which will change colour according to whether the key has been pressed. When the keystrokes have been finished I want to save this timespan in a field in a database. To test that the timer is running I have made a messagebox which will show the time taken however it is constantly showing zero and the label for the final keystroke is remaining in the keydown colour.

I ma trying to create a program to calculate my math grade. The way my math teacher explained the grading scale was each test is worth 1 point and each quiz is worth .2 points.
So as an example (add both sides up then divide by both sides)
100 =1
80 = 1
15 = .2
18 = .2
213 divide by 2.4 which equals your grade of 88.75
There are more quizs and tests in the semester and I want the numbers to change with the number of quizs and tests entered. The only problem is I am not sure how to code it. I though I would use IF AND statements but I am not sure where to start.

I think for you my problem is very simple..I have done the same program in console mode without problem, now i try into windows form...
I generate by random 2 number A&B I multiply them and I will compare it with the result in my textbox3
if it the same as the computer has calculated il will show you congratulation, however i will say try again
I have a problem to calculate the sum, A&B are well generated but nothing in Calc Result
When Calc was working when I write nothing in the textbox3 and i click on Verify it show the msgbox congratulation.I'm looking just for this step, I've fixed the other issues And another things When It's right I would like to random another number for A&B after closing the msgbox, how can I processd ?

1. I want to have the messagebox come up after the button is clicked and not under a leave event.
2. And its also important to make sure that if any non-number is entered; it wont crash.

With this code, I am trying to enter a number in TxtBox Class A, B, and C. When I place a number in either text box, it will multiply the following text boxes by either 15, 21, and 9, add the total and place it in the the total text box. I am trying to release my program now and I have a quick (hopefully quick) question concerning serial numbers. I want to be able to store the trial serial number so if the user uninstalls and reinstalls they won't get another evaluation period free of charge. My concern is that some crafty person will simply move the database files in and out of those installs and keep going indefinately. Although I have some protections built into the database itself in case the program runs out, I just want one extra layer of protection. Is there a way to store the serial number in the registry when entered and check for that entry whenever the program is installed using Windows Installer 3.1?

I want to be able to enter (type in) data into a combobox as well as picking from the list. In earlier VB there was AfterUpdate event so that I could enter in the data I wanted. Now I have tried Keypress, Enter, and others and they all want just one character or number. If I try to enter a two-digit number it doesn't wait.
