If you click enter it divides your number by the numbers 1-12. Let's say you put 100 in that box. Then you clicked enter. The check box next to ten would be checked, 4, 2, and 5 would all be checked because those numbers evenly go into 100. How can I have the vb check to see if the sum is a whole number?

I saw something like this in the code bank but the examples there were from VB6(?) and were hugely inefficient (compared his Add and Multiply examples to mine, his having way more code and loops.)
The program must generate 6 unique random numbers but when I click display numbers sometimes it gives me 6 unique numbers and sometimes I get duplicate numbers. I will add the code I have so far.

Given a string as a form of input (parsed from an input file) which represents a number and a mathematical operator (<, >, <=, >=, !, !=, and a few others), what is a really fastefficient way to chop off that operator, compare it to a list of valid operators, and then set an "operator" variable to a state (i.e., Enum) representing the identified operator, then return just the number (as a string)?I'm open to various ideas and implementations.I've tried several (about 6-7) myself, and find I'm not really satisfied with the speedThe fastest so far is a For Each loop that walks my list of "valid operators", and compares that operator's string representation against the chopped off bit from the numeric string. i am creating a maths program that works out five number summarys of a range of data. i am having trouble working out the smallest number in a group of numbers. i have used a bunch of if then statements to work out the maximum and i figured that by exchanging a few variables and swapping greater than signs for less than i could use the same code to work out the minimum, but all i get is zero, no matter what i input into my textboxes. below is the code i have used to work out the maximum number

My issue is that some websites only allow say 15 characters maximum to be used to create a user name where other sites do not. Currently I have one text box on the screen and a button, and a web browser that navigates to two sites.Site #1 has a cap of 15 characters max to create a user nameSite #2 doesn't have any maximum amount of characters to use.I am wanting to know how I can enter lets say a 20 character username into the text box and have the code set a max of 15 characters for site one and nothing for site 2. What is the maximum number of executions in a while loop in VB.net that it will allow? Meaning, it is checking for a variable to equal some value, but that value never comes? How many times will it execute the code before it quits? Is there some way to set the maximum number of executions without terminating it programmatically?

I'm trying to figure out a good way of implementing a List(Of) that holds a maximum number of records.
I have a List(Of Int32) - it's being populated every 2 seconds with a new Int32 item.
I want to store only the most current 2000 items.How can I make the list hold a maximum of 2000 items, then when the 2001'th item is attempted to be added, the List drops the 2000'th item (resulting in the current total being 1999).
Thing is, I need to make sure I'm dropping only the oldest item and adding a new item into the List.
one of our programmers is having an issue with a asp.net app. i had him rebuild and recompile the app to the network share on the staging server and received the same. i even deleted the files in this folder(C:WINDOWSMicrosoft.NETFrameworkv2.0.50727Temporary ASP.NET Files). to make sure that the server was not the issue i installed it on another server and received the same error.i found a article on msdn that states that its a source code issue.
